Just because you live in the woods doesn't mean you have to have the interior of your home all wood. To brighten up this 1970's oak kitchen the ceiling beams were removed and cabinets replaced with painted maple cabinets by KraftMaid. The floors in all of the lower level common areas were changed to 12x24 tile for durability and easy clean.
