This was the worst experience I have had with a contractor in 4 decades. The Sales process was pleasant enough but the scope was flawed, the change process was challenging, and the installation was unprofessional and damaged my home. I am actively warning my friends to never do business with your company, and still need to bring in other contractors to correct the workmanship issues from your installer.

We are thrilled beyond measure with our new kitchen. Kitchen Saver did it all: Refaced our 25-year old cabinets, installed 3 new cabinets, installed a new apron sink with hot water dispenser and "touchless" faucet, and handled installation of our new granite countertops. The entire team - our designer Mahsa, our measurer Bernie, our installer Jae, and the office support from Melissa and Courtney - were extremely professional and responsive to our every need. Jae in particular was an absolute perfectionist, taking care of every last detail and offering problem-solving solutions as we went along. We'd give more stars if we could! We highly recommend Kitchen Savers. It's the way to go!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. We used them to reface our kitchen. They replaced doors and drawers, refaced fronts, built compartment for new microwave drawer, new lazy Susans, etc. It has been almost one year since they did the job, and we love our kitchen. I am one of those people who are never really completely satisfied with any contractor, as I always feel they never really do a 100 percent job.
But not KitchenSavers, from the beginning they were professional, took great care not to damage our home, and their installers really took the time to make everything perfect. I also recently attended a home show where two other kitchen cabinet re-furbishers were displaying their work, and believe me their quality WAS NOT THE SAME as kitchenSavers.
The drawer rollers, doors, and hinges I saw were not anywhere near as heavy duty as what KitchenSavers installed at our house. My wife and I walked out of the home show even more sure that we had chosen the right company. Now, a year later, we decided to add some panel fronts on our islands that we hadn't done before (due to our budget), and we called KitchenSavers to see if they would be willing to come back out for just a couple of simple items.
And yes, the President of the company called us back himself, and said absolutely no problem, they would do it for us. What a nice change. I am so used to calling a company back (after they get paid) and them pretty much forgetting who I am, and never calling me back. But these people are right on top of things. Don't choose any other kitchen cabinet refacing company, KitchenSavers is the RIGHT ONE.

Alex was awesome as was Steven! They were mannerly and professional. KitchenSaver needs to hire more people! Other than that, I was very pleased with Alex. Steven came the last two days to help Alex. They made a great team and we couldn't be more happier with their work and expertise! Service: Remodeling

I'm confused with their advertising. I had ordered refinishing my cabinets back in April 2021. Made a down payment of $4300 plus. It is almost October. Still no cabinets. How are they allowed to advertise 3 to 5 days on TV? It will take them 20 to 24 weeks according to our contract. Still waiting. Kinda wish i had never agreed to do this. Buyer be ware.

Amazing and high quality product! My cabinets have never looked so good. We decided to go from a natural maple cabinet to a white cabinet. The job was completed in 5 days with minimum interference in our daily routines. Comes with a 10 year warranty. Definitely great value compared to other options out there by other contractors. Also note worthy is that they are family owned and deal with no sub contractors and everyone is an employee of their company!

The resurfacing product is decent, but the finishing is not at the level of excellent craftsmanship. Seams are very visible, paint was applied haphazardly, molding was installed incorrectly and poorly (I don't think it will lasts the life of the kitchen). Also our vision we described to the sales person was not executed well. There were looks that were promised that do not look professional.
I will not be recommending this company to anyone and I am sad with the results based on how much I paid for it. Update: Kitchen Saver did send a technician out to fix the areas that were not up to their standard. I am comfortable changing the review back to a 5.

Kitchen Saver's slogan is "Prepare to be impressed, " and I have to say, I am impressed with the work that Kitchen Saver did on our kitchen. Every detail was taken care of -- they arrange the plumbing, electric, and counter tops, which takes the pressure off the customer to have to schedule everything. Mike, our sales guy, was very responsive to calls and emails. Carol, the coordinator in the main office, could not have been nicer and more helpful. Dave, our installer, did an outstanding job.
Kitchen Saver does more than refacing kitchen cabinets. We also had a custom built-in cabinet installed in the dining room and a custom bar installed in the basement. We're very happy with the result and would definitely recommend Kitchen Saver to friends and family.

Adam extremely helpful and pleasant taking his time to answer my myriad of questions. I have to note that the appointment got off to a wonderful start when he called prior to arriving to let me know he'd be all of 10 minutes late due to traffic. I genuinely wish I'd been able to work with him, but the estimate did not fit into my budget.

I had a wonderful experience with Kitchen Savers. My "new" cabinets look great! I was impressed with everything from start to finish. I especially liked that that installation is done by their own employees and not subcontracted. I'll give a special shout out to my installer, Hector Gomez. He did a fantastic job and was finished a day earlier than I expected. I don't know if you can request an installer if you sign with Kitchen Savers, but I'd certainly ask.he's worth it!

I don't have a big kitchen and a lot of cabinets. I received a quote for $14,900 for basically painting, new hardware and hinges. Are you kidding me? I asked if it included backsplash and counter top and of course it doesn't. You can get new cabinets installed for the money they want. Of course it is like a timeshare sales bit. If you don't commit to their price that evening you don't get the 10% discount. save yourselves the long presentation and price new cabinets instead of what they propose.

From start to finish, request-for-consultation to completed project, KitchenSaver's performance has been outstanding. We are delighted with the total experience and the result! Our pre-installation consultation with Adam Taylor was informative and engaging. He helped us choose a perfect solution for our needs, decor, and space. Adam was right on time, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the product and process, and passionate about the company, its employees, and its suppliers--with good reason!
Our installer, Dave Duxon, was dedicated to our project from beginning to end. Dave is a superb craftsman. His work was not only flawless, but also remarkably quiet and clean: Floor and countertops were spotless at the end of each work day, and he placed his equipment and materials carefully out of the way so we could easily access the usable portions of our kitchen.
The materials KitchenSaver used are both attractive and robust. The cabinet surfaces are easy to clean, and we love our soft-close hinges: No more doors banging closed--much easier on the ears, nerves, and the cabinets themselves! Our new cabinets are perfect. Our kitchen looks brand-new, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you, KitchenSaver, for a superb experience!

I had KS come out to quote us on resurfacing our cabinets from oak to white in a mid-sized kitchen. The sales process was a bit long winded, I think over 2 hours if I remember correctly, and it was a little salesy (I've been in sales for over 18 years so I know it when I see it) but in the end, we felt comfortable moving forward with the project.
The work was done professionally but you have to keep in mind this is resurfacing, not a complete replacement so some edges are noticeable and in places, not everything matches up perfectly. After the job was complete, we had to have the installer come back out to straighten a few drawers and handles but they did the work quickly and without additional cost.
The 0% financing option with their partner is pretty amazing so we went that route. One thing we recently found out was when they installed our microwave, they ran the power wire thru our shower drain to the downstairs basement which is a HUGE NO NO so I hope they tell their installer not to do that again. My contractor found it last week and corrected it and charged me $100 and mentioned it was a bad shortcut.
One thing that has bothered us about the project since it was done is that a few times, neighbors have told us they have had all of their cabinets replaced for the $17,000 we invested. Sure, not likely super high end cabinetry but decent units. This of course was the final cost after a few discounts and haggling during the sales conversation so very glad we didn't pay more. Based on our further research and comparing quotes from contractors since, I think the fair cost range for resurfacing a medium size 15 cabinet kitchen with soft close doors, new lazy susan installed with bi-fold cabinet door and all new hardware should fall between $10,000 to $13,000 range which I believe is where you get the best value with KitchenSaver. I think we may have paid too much but lesson learned.

I am sorry Kitchen savers for not updating this sooner. The Norristown, Pa office responded to my negative review, and made things more than right. In business we all can make a mistake from time to time but it is how a company responds to such mistakes and with what sense of urgency that separates them. Thank you guys.

I had an appointment with the company on getting an estimate for cabinets. The man started off his pitch with we are more expensive than anyone else. Then he said I couldn't have the kitchen the way I wanted after speaking with other designers because there wasn't enough space to walk through and DC regulations. I asked was there a way to get to where I want and he said no so instead trying to get what I wanted he said he could've came up with another design.
I declined and went to Home Depot where that design salesman got the kitchen where I wanted including the the placement of the sink and dishwasher while being compliant with DC regulation. Don't go here if you want someone who can think outside the box.

We had our kitchen cabinets refaced and an additional pantry built. We were totally impressed with everything from beginning to end. Brett was our initial contact and he came to explain everything to us. Carol was terrific with scheduling. John, with measuring (and even got us in a month early for installation) and finally Mike, who installed the cabinets. Mike does unbelievable work!
What a transformation! There were a couple of teeny problems that were totally taken care of in a prompt manner. We were so happy with this company, we are now having them do our closet doors.

Dodged a bullet here; terrible customer service. That's my indicator of how service will be provided and continue. Scheduled an appointment and this company never honored it. I can understand a reminder phone call, but I was not told that I need to call the company to confirm my appointment or they would cancel. When I did listen to their voice message that day 3:30pm it said I needed to reschedule and the phone number provided only played music (3 times).
I made time out of my schedule to accommodate the appointment I made on my initial call. This company should get out of the service industry and stop irritating clients with a need.

Kitchen saver delivered as promised from beginning to end. We decided to transform the kitchen from oak to white and the results were amazing. We felt we were treated fairly and they kept in touch with us throughout the process. There are probably cheaper operators out there but we felt we paid and received the Rolls Royce of cabinet refinishing and there is a cost to that. Very happy with the results

"Be prepared to be impressed" I downgraded to only 1 star due to the customer service during the process and demand of payment and inconsistencies of promises-not to mention the claim they are tied to 'Amish" which I do not believe to be true in researching and calling Pa customer service. Their sites claim, '3-5 days', with emphasis on 3days. "Rather than simply refacing a customer's cabinets, Kitchen Saver will update a customer's kitchen using their existing cabinets in as little as 3 days at a fraction of the cost. " I choose KS after 3 years being approached at Home shows and looking into other competitors, I was given a $500 voucher.
Special hardwood was pointed out as well as soft close drawers and 'Amish' connection, a wine rack were among the many features. I checked the website and impressed with the before and after photos-these are deceiving as paint and taking down border are not included. 11/12th-after several calls, Salesman Rick came out with samples and different door colors.with high end price of $11,000; I said "no", too much.
Ask my ball park and I said no more than $5,000; He gave me $1,000 off to do it off season [January]. I had concerns regarding the grade on cherry to match my granite [Monte Carlo-Bordeaux w/brown/reds/tan] and showed him pictures from their website and other places with a muddled grain look and/or some knottiness. He wrote this on the contract as being doable and "he would push for" that; he claimed the lazy Susan was not doable-I made the 10% down deposit-to start 1/22-$8800, adding a 'box' over fridge and tops of current cabinets.
I was to provide microwave in lieu of fan. A 2hour sales push. A stipulation was I wanted old appliances donated which they were [presumably]. The guy who came out to measure [still had concerns] said that would not be the case; [knotty or muddled] I called the office and got a sample-and hardware [which I liked]; still a little concerned regarding how dark cherry would be.
He wanted me to call Rick back and claimed I wanted knotty cherry. why? he was the one who gave false information. A John Riegert, manager than came out to assess with another cherry door and felt it would match well and look 'muddled' and could install Lazy Susan another $730+. to $8800. They could not start Monday [which was ok; I was still taking border down] Tuesday, a guy showed up 10am and then 3 others; I ask when should I have microwave ready-and got that.
They inquired re: stainless steel stove which I had not purchased per installation fee-they said they could do it, which I sincerely appreciated-went back and got stove. Wednesday, Hassan came [by himself] who is the gem of the company worked politely, meticulously, and very knowledgably. Then I was called by Carole Thompson, demanding a 'start' payment of $2900. giving the impression they could not complete with comment, "I need to talk to you". on msg-Thursday.
I was late for work, but indicated I left check on counter. Friday I came home from work, and while the cherry is nice; it is dark as suspected, not much variation in the grain and again, Friday had the demand call from Carole for final payment. I was advised if I had any concerns to go back to Rick, as Service Tech. [ I am done with this company; at a cost of $9,5++. [excluding appliances] I should get what I asked for without demands from their office regarding payment.
The installers are great, pushy reps not so much-I am not impressed. I heard from Brett Cohen CEO but tired of the excuses and lies. I intend to further research the Amish connection; having Brethren background, Amish would not lie about processes and products, which was a deciding factor in choosing KS-I have yet to get my key back; I asked it be mailed.
It has been over 10 days since work was "completed" my key should have been returned on completion. re below comment: Amish and Mennonite are different you are capitalizing on the sect. Lol "free"

The reason I decided to have Kitchen Savers remodel my kitchen was that I was SURE they could do the job right the first time! My kitchen was gutted to the bare walls. Within 3 weeks, I had my new, beautiful kitchen and it was just how I pictured it would be.and more! The staff is incredible! Always able to adjust for my work schedule. The best part. I didn't have to make 50 calls. Brett and John took care of everything! Mike my installer was the best! Would and have referred!

I was at my local county fair when I came across the Kitchen Saver booth. The lady running the booth was very helpful and informative, letting me know that I would save so much money with Kitchen Saver and even giving me a 10% off coupon. I filled out a paper with my contact information and was contacted a few days later with a very pushy woman who wanted me to schedule something for the very next day.
I was heading out of town for the weekend, so we decided on the following Monday. She kept asking if my husband would be there and I told her I was not married and live with my boyfriend, but the home is in my name. She went ahead and scheduled the appointment knowing it would be only me there. When the guy showed up it took him awhile to get started.
I felt like things were dragging on, but I was excited to get designing my new kitchen. While going through all of the information and during the design process there was no mention of how much anything would cost. I asked how much a certain upgraded would cost and he said they don't itemize things and there was no way to know until it was put into the computer.
After nearly three hours, he finally puts it all into the computer and gives me a price of $19,800. My kitchen is fairly large, but nearly $20,000 for resurfaced cabinets is outrageous. That includes no floors, no counters, no back splash, and no appliances. Additionally, I could only use the 10% off coupon if I signed and paid 1/3 down right then.
The remaining 2/3 would be due upon completion of the project. I told him that was very off putting and I wasn't sure how they expected someone to make a decision to spend $20k on a kitchen in a matter of hours by themselves. I may not be married, but that doesn't mean I don't have to discuss purchases with my boyfriend of 8 years before deciding to spend money like this.
I am confident that I can redo my entire kitchen, including counter tops as well for much less than the quote I was offered by KitchenSaver. I am disappointed at the lack of transparency, outrageous price I was given, and pushiness of the sales guy (or so called "designer".yeah, right. He's a glorified salesman) to have me sign and pay today.
Would not recommend KitchenSaver. If you do want to get a quote from them, definitely do it after you've spoken to every other person otherwise you won't be able to take advantage of the 10% off deal.

I'm pissed off at the Kitchen Saver sales guy because he lied to me. When he first came in he told me it was his goal to get me the best deal, even if it wasn't with Kitchen Saver. That was followed by ONE HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTES of hard sell. Um, no. I talked to two contractors: Kitchen Saver for replacing cabinet faces and USA Cabinets for replacing both cabinets and counters.
Even though USA Cabinets was doing much more work, and giving me granite counters on top of that, they and Kitchen Savers came out to the same price. I'm sure Kitchen Savers do excellent work, but replace cabinet surfaces vs replace whole kitchen with granite counters. Same price. I could go on and on about them, but here's the important thing to know.
When you start contacting customers, Kitchen Savers responds immediately to schedule an appointment. They get there first. They get there first because it's part of their hard sell strategy. They don't want you to know what other offers you can get. You get their hard sale first and then they offer a 10% discount but only if you sign immediately. So, here's what you do.
Talk to other contractors first and be clear in your head exactly what you do and don't like about their offers. Then schedule an appointment with Kitchen Savers. That way you get all the information you need to make the right choice and, if you do chose to use Kitchen Savers, you can also take advantage of the 10% discount.

Bottom line.my wife loves our refaced cabinets! I was concerned that refacing cabinets would look cheap. They turned out really great. Tim Mitchell did a great job with the project. His attention to detail was very impressive. He was very professional with his approach to the job. He cleaned up at the end of each day, so we would have use of our kitchen each evening. I would definitely recommend Kitchen Saver for refacing cabinets, and I would encourage you to try and get Tim Mitchell to do the work.

Do not recommend Kitchen Saver! We found Kitchen Saver on Yelp and contacted them for our kitchen renovation project. We were very impressed with their customer service exec (with whom we spoke on the phone) and she confirmed that they do everything related to kitchen work including installation of tiles. She had also booked us for a free in-home consultation.
A sales rep named Adam had visited my home. Initially he was friendly and professional however after sometime he started talking very arrogantly. He started the conversation by informing me that they take minimum 8 weeks to start any project and that he would give me more information only if this timeline was agreeable to us. My timeline was very flexible and hence we asked him to walk us through their services per my requirements. 1) For every cost related question we asked or suggestion we made, he kept saying that a reputed company like Kitchen Saver doesn't do that sort of cheap stuff. 2) He said that as a part of the company's policy he was unable to provide the pricing for each component that is included in the service.
He was very 'pushy' and said that he would show me material samples only after we sign the contract. He was not even willing to give me a break up of any components that is included in the $27,000 package he was offering. Anyone would be very apprehensive about companies that lack transparency. 3) He also told that they do not install floor tiles which was contradictory to what the customer service exec had confirmed over the phone.
He said that he will give me contractor references only after we sign the contract. 4) Moreover, when we said that we need a few days to think, he immediately said that we are a type of customer who will not hire their service. This statement was discouraging. Don't think this is how any sales personnel should behave and make predictions/assumptions.
The only reason we are not going to hire Kitchen Saver is because after talking to Adam we do not have any confidence on the kind of work they will do and the type of 'arrogant' people we might have to deal with. We have had a bad start with Kitchen Savers and our opinion wouldn't change despite the 5 star ratings they may have.
