Focused exclusively on residential design, Elma works closely with every client on interior design planning, interior specification and exterior architectural detailing for both new construction and remodel projects, collaborating with architects, contractors and developers on all aspects of the construction process.

Kitchen and Bath certifications are administered by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and require participation in an ongoing professional development program. This ensures that when you work with a certified design professional, you are working with someone who is keeping abreast of changing technology, new products and current building codes.
During our initial meetings we concentrate on identifying your design needs and goals for the space being created or remodeled. This is the time to share your wish list, notes, picture collections and ideas! Next we'll discuss in-depth how you cook, entertain and work in your home; how you spend your leisure time and the recreational needs of your family to determine your design priorities.
The existing 70's styled kitchen needed a complete makeover. The original kitchen and family room wing included a rabbit warren of small rooms with an awkward angled family room separating the kitchen from the formal spaces. The new space plan required moving the angled wall two feet to widen the space for an island.
Rich dark cherry perimeter cabinetry and soft yellow cabinetry accents for the island and pantry provide the perfect foil for the dramatic island granite slab The muted quartz counters for the perimeter and island raised counter lend a contemporary note to the space. The stone and glass mosaic back splash unifies the space.
