Kowalske Kitchen & Bath is a family-owned and operated design-build remodeling company that works with homeowners in Delafield, Brookfield, Hartland, Wauwatosa, Elm Grove and the surrounding areas. Our story begins in 1983 when several of the Kowalske brothers started a carpet and tile business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Great experience! They're organized, stick to schedule and best of all, employ genuine craftspeople and give them the time and latitude to do the job right. Kim, Byron, Olesya, Magic Mike the Tile Guy, Aaron and their entire team treated our little job as though it were the most important ever. They left us with a gorgeous, well built bath that we love. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Kowalske again!

We had some water damage in our basement that finally pushed us to pull the trigger on a basement overhaul. We can't say enough good things about Kowalske. We are so happy with the two outdated bathrooms they remodeled. We never could have imagined we'd be able to turn our spaces into such beautiful rooms. We are grateful everyday we use them! Stephanie, our designer, worked so hard to get us everything we wanted and more, and still stay within our budget.
There was a lot of demo and plumbing that had to be redone and they were quick, efficient and respectful. Everyone that did the work was top-notch and very friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Its been about a year since Kowalske finished our kitchen and bathroom remodels. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience! Our kitchen space really need to be "reinvented" and we had started working with "the other guys" but they really struggled to give us ideas that we liked. I am not an interior designer so I really wanted to lean on someone that really knew how to fix our space for years to come!
To add onto that problem we also needed a contractor that was willing to work with our house that is a timber frame from 1851! "level" and "90 degrees" are just not possible! I also wanted to be sure only sustainable materials that would protect the beams from trapped moisture and rot. "The other guys" insisted on using cheap products and foam! I am so glad that I found Christina at Kowalske.
Not only was she was able to turn our kitchen into a master piece of cooking and durability but they used all my specified materials and were able to expose our wood beam ceiling in our budget! They were even able to "level" the floor so that the drastic dips are not noticeable! She helped us pick out all the materials and we loved all of her suggestions. It took so much stress out of the project to trust her instincts! I still love every detail and it has stood up to a now 2 year old and 7 month old!

We work with the team at Kowalske all the time, supplying tile for many of the jobs they do. Their designers are creative, enthusiastic and really care about their clients. The entire team is responsive and are great with communicating client needs, budget parameters and deadlines, and their installers are top notch. We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Kowalske Kitchen and Bath, and could not be more pleased with the entire process as well as the final outcome. From the first meeting with our designer, daily interactions with the skilled workers, and of course the final results; we knew we were working with the best. Every individual we interacted with was professional, friendly, on time, and clearly amazingly skilled in what they did.

We had an incredible experience with Kowalske Kitchen & Bath. We originally purchased a home in Delafield in the summer knowing that the house could use a lot of love. After originally reaching out to Matt and meeting Christina and Cindy we had plans to renovate every room on the main floor and second floor. By the fall they were knocking down walls and we moved in at the end of the year. It's hard to describe the scope of the project because they really did touch every room in the house.
Their design choices were thoughtful, the work they did was professional, and working with them was a great. People talk about how stressful a home renovation is and I could see how a project of our scope could cause us to lose some hair but the crew never let that happen. We love our house, every day we come home it feels like we're on vacation or living in a dream house.
The transformation from what it was to what it is makes it seem like they built an entirely new house from the ground up. If you are thinking about doing any sort of home renovation project you really need to talk to Kowalske. We did our due diligence on the front end and looked at plenty of options and wound up with the best one available. We have so many great stories from the renovation but one that sticks out, that was relatively minor in the scope of everything, that speaks to the type of company Kowalske is goes like this: we moved in December 22nd, planned on showing our families the house on the 24th, and the one snag was our appliance crew didn't install the fridge or the washer/dryer.
Small problem, but something that kind of stuck out as incomplete. The appliance company blew their deadline and was going to leave us in a lurch, so we called Matt who personally got on the phone with them and after not getting anywhere personally came out to our house on December 23rd and with our PM moved the fridge into our house, hooked up the water line and installed the washer and dryer. You just don't find companies like this out there - they are incredible.

Kowalske exceeded even our wildest expectations. They were professional, fair, kind and wildly talented. Everyone who walked into our house was a welcome presence. Nothing like we had expected. We had assumed that everyone who entered would be simply concerned about their work and nothing else. Yet, that was hardly the case. From top to bottom it was a phenomenal experience.
We looked at a number of remodelers for our master bath project and were more than happy to find that the most expensive option is certainly not the best. We couldn't recommend them enough. In fact, we have every intention of using them again. No question.
