Highly recommend. The business primarily makes high end cabinets and furniture. The owner of Cap Wood, Jim, is a very nice fellow and his shop does great work. Home Depot and Menards wouldn't do the cuts i needed because they were too small and "dangerous" on their equipment (1/8 < 1" ripped off small pieces). Cap Wood did it no problem and will do small one-off custom furniture builds and whatever wood cuts from their wood inventory, their scrap, even pieces of wood you bring in.

I was working with pine 2x4 but scrap cherry was used for two pieces i needed to replace as mine ended being too small (will be painted in the end so different wood is irrelevant). Jim guarantees his cuts too. I will definitely go back there in the future should the need arise. If you live in an apt or small home in the greater Waukesha, WI area and don't have tools to make finish cuts, the tool rental cost + time to fetch and setup/use/cleanup/return for a small job far outweighs Cap Wood labor costs. Just provide all the dimensions required.
