We started working with Quinn in summer 2021 when the cabinet shop that we originally ordered from our interior designer manufactured in Minnesota had a huge delay and could not deliver in the time that we had planned for the construction. We had looked into Demetra previously and liked the cabinets, so we decided to see if we could find a solution locally. Quinn was to our rescue -- worked with us on the design for many hours, always responded promptly and patiently, and got our design all finalized in a short turnaround time.

We had a big order with a full kitchen, dining, laundry, office, and 3 bathrooms and were told that the delivery was about 8-10 weeks. The production team member Maxie was very nice to help with the delivery schedule. To our surprise, the order was completed on time, which is not to be taken lightly these days! The delivery crew, headed by Jason, was very professional and handled all the cabinets carefully.

Our project got delayed for a late start and we just finished the first half of the house, but we have been very happy with the quality and beautify of the cabinets. Our builder was also impressed by the cabinets. We had some questions on the installation and the cabinet order during the construction, and again the team was very helpful in answering our questions. Thank you, Quinn and Demetra, for your great service and quality products!

This place has amazing cabinets. Knowledgeable and friendly service from the team. From design to delivery, the team at Demetra was wonderful. They also provided support for my installer. If you need cabinets, you can't go wrong choosing Demetra Cabinetry.

Updated review 2/19/22 I'm updating my previous review and replacing with a 5 star review. The manager Ricky reached out to me and offered to replace the side panels and cabinets doors and I will be receiving the items shortly. I appreciate Ricky offering to replace these parts - several years after our purchase. I can't ask for any more than that and I am grateful for Ricky following up on our purchase. This shows that they stand by their cabinets and craftsmanship. Thank you!

Recently visited Demetra Cabinetry in search of a custom bathroom vanity for a remodel. We've visited at least a dozen retailers from Santa Cruz to Palo Alto, San Jose to Fremont.but working with Kevin at Demetra was the best experience so far. Knowledgeable, professional, creative and a good listener. We are closer to a final call, thanks to Kevin. Would recommend checking him out if you are looking for someone with a good eye and who knows his stuff.

Everyone at Demetra Cabinetry is incredibly friendly and kind! They always tried to help us, and were very reasonable and understanding of our needs. We visited another shop prior, and felt a huge difference when walking into Demetra Cabinetry. Not only were the staff very welcoming and accommodating of our preferences, they also made many great suggestions for cabinet aesthetics.

The designer and the sales team helped us match our countertop with the cabinet colors, and the result was fantastic. They pushed our project into production as soon as the design process was finished, and we got our cabinets quickly. Additionally, there was a problem that popped up during installation, but despite it not being Demetra's issue, they went above and beyond to help resolve it. We loved the end result, and thoroughly enjoyed working with Demetra!

We worked on a project recently with Kevin, and it was a great experience. He was knowledgeable, professional, and patient with us throughout the whole process. We got recommended to Demetra by our friends whom bought the product many years ago. Love the look and durability of these cabinets, and therefore decided to go with them.

Demetra has done several projects for me. Great experience every time. Kevin was my designer. Kevin has years of design/sales experience and it shows. Concept, design, execution was top notch.

I've purchased 2 kitchens from Demetra over the past years. Good quality, service and value. I'll use the in the future and recommend Demetra highly.

Staff is very nice and patient. I ordered a vanity and storage cabinet and it was built to perfection! The work here is spectacular! Took a bit longer to get but was def worth the wait. Highly recommend!

I bought all my home cabinets from Demetra. What I really like about Demetra is the staff working there is very professional and responsive. They offer semi-custom cabinets and besides that they offer various door materials options, so no matter what style you like you can talk to designer, and they will make a design based on your desire. The cabinets quality is pretty good too, the price is also reasonable, if you are trying to find some place of semi-custom options with reasonable price, I recommend you to check with Demetra's products!

After researching a number of cabinetry places, we ended up choosing Demetra. Kevin is an incredibly knowledgeable designer and guided us through all the details when it came to sizing and options. We had such a great experience with him, that we also decided to use Demetra for a third laundry room project. What we especially love is that he provides us with tips and ideas that we didn't think of initially. I highly recommend Kevin and Demetra for anyone looking for custom cabinetry.

Unfortunately, after multiple follow ups - we still are waiting for missing parts and faulty work in the cabinets. The order was north of $23,000 which is not a trivial sum, is it too much to expect decent service for this? Buyer beware, you do not get what you pay for here - instead, you get very shoddy service and it all goes downhill after they have taken your money.

The showroom is slick, but that is for show. This poor service is akin to total negligence. I will update if and when this gets resolved. To the manager - I DM-d you my order number, not sure how to do a public response on Yelp. Dec 1: No response from Demetra on an actual date on missing parts or faulty hardware installation. They write long responses on Yelp but there is no action to follow up. There's many alternatives for kitchen cabinets, do not put yourself through this experience. Again, I'll update this post after my issue is resolved.

Double pricing than other cabinetry stores. Attitude changed a lot after purchasing, don't response emails and calls when we have issues. We ordered handles as well, and There's no handles at all for the whole order. Strongly don't recommend this store

I'm been trying to contact your customer support for the past couple days, but no one is picking up the phone and replying the emails. My claim number is 13421. I had a great experience with the Demetra cabinetry team. My cabinets came out great. Quality is top notch and great value for the money spent. As with many items I ordered for my remodeling project there where back orders and delays. I know these issues are out of their control and appreciate their efforts to keep me in the loop and my project on track as close as possible. Thanks guys.

Highly unreliable and disorganized. I checked on the status of my order multiple times, a week and a few days before ETA. It was only the day before the promised day that they told me the items were backordered and they will not be ready for another 3 weeks or so like it was not a problem. I had to change my order to get something in stock by paying extra few thousands $ just to complete my project on time.

After it was delivered I discovered that it was missing trays and bins. I asked about it and they then told me those were supposed to come with the order and I had to come pick them up from their warehouse. The part I don't understand is why I have to be the one who discovers all these issues and contact them. There was no heads up on backorder UNTIL I asked them multiple times. They didn't know the cabinets had missing parts UNTIL I asked about it. And there was no apologies or whatsoever.

I was so lucky to work with Berfin, who did an amazing job! Her attention to detail, timeliness and commitment to the job are superb. By far the best experience I've had working with sales, designers, and contractors during our whole house remodel. Still a lot of work going on, but I just can't wait to recommend Berfin/Demetra!

I'm just wondering if my cabinets are supposed to do this? Good thing they only cost me $20,000. Oh yeah, I'm the one that ordered the cabinets specifically to go all the way to the ceiling, but somehow there is a 6 gap. After Installation I noticed and complainedDemetra sent some people out to tell me tough shit. Update on 1/26/19. The owner reached out to me and came to look at my cabinets. Again, he told us TOUGH SHIT!

Look at the plastic on these cabinets from the pictures. For $20,000?!? I'm going to have to redo all the cabinets again because I can't attempt to match these. Nobody else uses this type of plastic crap. Updated 7/12/21 The plastic on the cabinets is really peeling off and I can see the cheap wood underneath. I just don't understand why they bothered to come out and look and then offered no options to fix it or even make it look better. Time to buy new cabinets. Very Expensive Lesson.

We were speaking to Maxi about ideas on a vanity. She is very helpful. Showroom has some ideas and options. Probably the ordering is eight weeks out. Has a restroom for customers

We worked with Quinn from San Jose store for our kitchen remodeling project. On our first visit, Quinn took time to listen to our needs, explained different options and offered us her professional advices. Through out the process, Quinn was responsive to communications and was very accommodating when we changed our minds on design several times before finalize.

The cabinets themselves are well made with attention to details, everything came out just as we imagined. We'd choose Demetra again for our future projects and are recommending this store to all our friends.

I purchased the black matte cabinets for my master bathroom in January. Maxie was a big help with materials and design (and re-design). I checked back with her several times on timing, and also had to add an additional panel, which she fit into the design and managed to get it delivered with the original order. She was very responsive to all of my questions as a first-time renovator.

One handle was faulty, and I received a replacement within 2 days of sending an email to Maxie. The unique design and cabinets are gorgeous! I will go back to Maxie and Demetra for my next project.

The experience with Demetra is awesome! Highly recommended! I am super happy with the service. Quinn Bonifacio is very professional and easy to work with. She walked us through all kinds of cabinets and handles very patiently. She gave us a design the first time we visited the store and helped revise it several times until it finally perfectly fit our new home! Again, very professional and patient!

We forgot to use our store credit to purchase the handles but Quinn fought for us even after the credit was expired for 4 months! Impressive service! Thank you Quinn! The build quality of the cabinet is far beyond our expectations, and the price is super reasonable as well. I have visited many other stores and didn't find one that can compare with Demetra in terms of price/quality!

With the same quality, it can easily cost us $5000 more in other stores! I will highly recommend Demetra if you want good service, high build quality (and good look!), and a dream kitchen!

This is a late review but with full of gratefulness. I highly recommend working with Cynthia to your kitchen designer. She is always honest, helpful and kind. I had no idea that how the kitchen would be looked more contemporary. She provided alternate suggestions and was transparent about pros and cons. As I ordered during COVID-19, the cabinets took a little bit longer then I expected. Cynthia helped me to communicate with the production team and solved the problems efficiently. And after the installation, the kitchen looks amazing and fabulous. I can't recommend her and demetra team more. I will absolutely call them for my next remodel work.

I did a full kitchen renovation project and all my cabinets were from Demetra. Right from the start, the experience was top-notch. I worked with Maxie - highly recommend her. She was patient, always was open to changing things up as my design evolved over time, and was very invested in ensuring I was a satisfied customer. After the install, a cabinet did not fit properly. Demetra's support team was short on manpower because of COVID, Maxie took it upon herself to help me out.

That is just phenomenal customer service. The cabinets are top-notch and honestly, I could have got them in other places too. But Maxie and Demetra's customer obsession made the difference.

The bald headed guy is an IDIOTT lucky my home is a rental now. Just look at how this idiot kitchen planner that uses software because he's a dumbass and can for the life know appliances have handles. Yes an oven handle that extrudes a few inches. So why would you know move the slide out cabinet accordingly? Because you're an idiot that doesn't know how to plan a kitchen.

So many headaches w demetra crap cabinets. My Ikea cabinets at my rental holds up better and has a 10 year warranty! Look at how these solid wood cabinets can't even support the weight in a drawer! And how the stain is bad and has so many imperfections! Stay clear from these china made crap! By euro or diamond at the very least if you want quality and design. Be forewarned about their sustainability practices as I question any claims of low or zero VOCs from their products that are manufactured in china!

The ordering and delivering process is quite streamlined. The delivery crew took great care in dropping off the carefully packaged cabinets. The contractors were able to install the cabinets with relative ease using the efficient numbering/cataloging system used by the Demetra team.

I checked out this place for my kitchen remodeling, The designer there is very friendly and quite professional. I was educated with a lot of details in regards to the cabinets which I have not paid attention to. They also offered a fair amount of selections of european styles, Very contemporary. Recommend to check it out!

Excellent customer service from start to finish. We had the pleasure of working with Fan from layout to order to fulfillment. He was available to meet anytime (and mtgs on Zoom throughout Covid) as questions would arise. He came to site with the production manager as queries came up onsite with us and the general contractor. Demetra even provided extra material at no charge to us when the general contractor made some installation errors.

We really appreciate the level of care and follow thru Demetra provided throughout the full extent of the project. - They supplied cabinetry for the full kitchen, bathrooms and laundry millwork.

Demetra cabinets were the exact style that we were looking for. We are still in the process of installing, but felt it was worth providing a review due to the fantastic customer service. While good customer service ought to be expected of from all businesses, as you go through a remodel you quickly learn how many things can go wrong, and good service goes a really long way. Kevin has been very helpful and spent a lot of time with me going through all the details.

There have been a few issues, but as anyone remodeling will learn, it unfortunately will always happen, especially for a whole house of new cabinets (Kitchen with island, 3 vanities, and entertainment wall). The part that was fantastic was how quickly they acknowledge and addressed the mistakes and made replacements immediately so that we could continue with install. Leo at the shop has been absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful at correcting mistakes and providing replacement pieces ASAP, which has helped me continue with the build. Can't thank him enough for ensuring timely, high quality, beautiful cabinets, and highly recommend Demetra for the gorgeous cabinetry and excellent customer service.

First time writing a review, but was motivated by the great customer service from Kevin at the San Jose Demetra Cabinetry store. Mine was a small problem and I didn't come fully prepared with a photo which would have made things a lot easier. He helped me quickly, efficiently, and got it just right - thanks Kevin.
