This is a bit late for we had our kitchen remodeled last June. Mark who is no longer there worked with us on our kitchen design and remodel. He has a great sense of taste and design in his work. He guided us in colors cabinetry, countertops, and plumbing fixtures. He was absolutely fantastic! Our kitchen is beautiful and is the centerpiece of our home.
I wish Mark was still there because I have two bathrooms to remodel now and need someone with a good sense of design for the existing footprint. Thank you Mark and we miss you.

Fun with Kinetic Kitchen and Bath, a cautionary tale. I wanted to install a very basic desk area in the end of my great room. Could I do it myself? Probably. Would it look it? Definitely. Tried to find a carpenter to take it on, without luck. Kinetic had done my bathroom really well a few years ago, so I stopped in on May 8 to see if they would do it. Signed off on the design May 12, half down.
About 13x9 feet, three filing cabinets, 5 foot closed cupboard, two shelves, and L shaped vinyl countertop. $9487.48. Seemed expensive, but you pay for quality. Given a mid July installation date. I called the end of July, our materials would be in August 11, installation within a day or two. I called the end of August. Cabinets would be delivered September 6, installed on the 7th. Hmm.
Delivery on Labor day? Maybe they are making up for lost time. Phone call the next day, haha, we don't deliver on Labor day, but they will be there at 7:30 Tuesday morning. 8:00 Tuesday morning I called to find out where they were. Oh, haha, nobody emptied the truck on Friday evening, so we had to do that before loading your materials. Should be there by 8:15. 8:30 delivery begins, no installer in sight.
Delivery guy wants a check for the rest of the money. Not until its installed, sorry. Puts me on the phone with someone in the office who wants to argue with me. Fine. Come here with a refund for what I've already paid, take your materials and leave. 9:15 the "carpenter" shows up. I wrote a check for half of what I still owed. This kid had lots of expensive tools. Skills, not so much. Pulled up the baseboard molding to cut for cabinet install.
Cut it one inch too big, put the molding back but didn't tack it into place, Shelves ended a half inch from the wall they were supposed to butt into, and went from flush to half an inch out on the wall they were attached to. Next up, counter layout. September 9. Can't install, until he has room for overhang on the end next to the cabinet. September 17.
New carpenter, this time with skills, gets everything ready for counter installation. September 27. Counter installation by Shell. Real pros, outstanding job. October 14, finish carpenter comes to fix what he can. Does it look ok? Yeah. But I went to a cabinet installer expecting cabinet maker quality. Were the material delays their fault? No. Was the attitude from the office and not keeping me informed of progress? Yes. Moral of the story: Just because you are a repeat customer, don't expect a repeat performance.

We had a great experience with Mark at Kinetic. He helped us plan our kitchen cabinets for our new house and provided us with many different options. He made really good suggestions and was always available when I had to ask him something. We are very pleased with the quality and follow up on odds and ends things that came up after installation. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience working with everyone at Kinetic Kitchen. Tina really went above and beyond to make us happy customers- always glad to answer any questions and always got back to us quickly. My husband and I totally remodeled our kitchen, we ordered cabinets through them. They came out to our house and measured everything then came up with a great plan that worked best for our space- no wasted space which was very important to us as we don't have a huge kitchen. We are so pleased with our experience with everyone at Kinetic Kitchen! We highly recommend them to anyone, they won't disappoint!

Just like to take a minute to thank Mark for helping us with our layout and design of our new master bath and half bath. We started out with a 1950s era bathroom which had to be totally gutted down to the studs Because we were splitting it into a full master bath and a half bath this called for all new plumbing and electric. We absolutely love having the master bath with a walk-in shower and we can't thank Mark enough with helping us with the layout and picking the materials to complete the project in the same foot print of the original bathroom.

We recently had our countertop replaced in our kitchen by Kinetic Kitchen and Bath Lauren and Sean showed nothing but professionalism and listened to what we wanted when they both came to our house to do an estimate. Lauren reviewed our contract after we decided what we wanted. ShellFab did the countertop and they did excellent work putting it in Sean came to our house to finish the job and made some other adjustments. Sean and Lauren answered all our questions responded to them adequately.
We highly recommend Kinetic Kitchen and Bath because of the quality of their work, the price was right in our budget and their response to our concerns and the punctuality of their timing. They went up and beyond.

The owner, Vic, screamed at me over the phone over a complaint that I never had (recieving texts from the project manager in the evening), and told my wife to "quit yapping." He also told us to stop contacting his wife, the other owner, after she kindly offered her phone number to my wife so that our multiple issues could be resolved. I was exasperated that the project manager was not keeping my wife and I updated on when the plumber was to come out to our home, in addition to a general lack of communication throughout the project.
What a ridiculous and terrible way to treat any customer, let alone someone who is spending tens of thousands of dollars. Their drywall work was poor, they mudded over multiple outlets, drywalled over others, couldn't make clean 90 degree corners or straight corners, and they have repeatedly blamed our house for their poor work. They gave us two options for the drywall: live with it, or tear it out and have someone else do the work.
Our dishwasher was damaged by their plumber as well, who screwed mounting brackets into our quartz counter, which is against the manufacturer's installation recommendations. Cabinets were hung, but some screws didn't hit studs, and could be pulled straight out by hand. Other screws were screwed in multiple times in different locations, chewing up the cabinets.
You would think that the owner would drive 30 seconds around the corner to see the multiple issues we were having first hand, but that also was another reasonable expectation that wasn't met. Instead, he would gladly yell at you at over the phone and demean your wife. DO NOT USE THEM.

We decided to go with Kinetic Kitchen as they say, they stand behind their work, they're punctual, quality of work is great, they will communicate with other contractors to keep a smooth and easy process for you. Well, unfortunately we've had nothing but the opposite. Our job started in November and is still not complete. There is a huge lack in communication, punctuality and quality of work.
Our experience has been extremely negative. Our drywall job was done so bad. They are crooked, bumpy, uneven and outlets were drywalled over. This was just the beginning of our issues. Our cabinets were installed and installed poorly. The holes inside several of the cupboards are all chewed up, screws are missing and there are some you can literally pull out.
The plumbing kept getting pushed off only to have our brand new dishwasher damaged. Still waiting for our replacement. We have tried throughout this process to contact the project manager, designer and owners only to be ignored the majority of the time. The owner was extremely rude as he screamed at us over the phone and felt it necessary to say how he lives around the corner, owns the land behind our house and a lot of property.
There is absolutely no reason for him to say those things other than to intimidate and or threaten us. He also told me to stop yapping after I said we paid for the job to get done and it's not done, so he took our money. He proceeded to yell and scream about how perfect our kitchen is (it is not, and he has never once come by to look) and not to contact him or his wife again and then hung up on us.
The last time anyone has contacted us was on 12/31/19. We have tried to contact them twice since then. We are still waiting for our kitchen to be completed as it should be. We had to pay in full or the job wasn't going to get finished. Well, we paid and the job still isn't done. Please beware. I would not want anyone else to experience this. Kinetic Kitchen has been unprofessional, lacked in communication and does not stand behind their work.

We contracted with Kinetic Kitchen to do a full bathroom and kitchen renovation in a 70 plus year old house. The bathroom needed to be modernized and we wanted to convert the tub into an enclosed shower. The walls were tiled; we wanted to get rid of that. We also had to deal with an unknown leak from the bathroom into the kitchen downstairs. The kitchen being as small as it was lacked efficient cabinet space, was poorly lite by one ceiling light and was difficult to work in.
We picked Kinetic over 3 others; the key factor being they take responsibility for everything - coordinating the timing, labor and materials. The others were contractors who relied on sub-contractors for which they have little control over. Or, we had to be responsible for coordinating the timing of the material with the installation labor. With Kinetic, since all labor is under house control there was very little risk of delays.
They also have special arrangements with the appliance store we wanted to work with. So basically, it boiled down to one thing.anything about our bathroom and kitchen? One phone call to one place. They even claim that long after the job is done, they are still a phone call away. I am still waiting for something to break or need remediation so I can call and test that. Jill came out a number of times to study our situation and take measurements.
Once we settled on a design concept, the project manager, Sean, came out to plan/estimate the rough-in and labor. We were assured that notorious unknown leak would be taken care of without impacting the budget since the bathroom was a complete tear-out. The kitchen was also a full tear-out We were also presented with different scheduling options and there was no pressure to pick one or another.
The end result of Jill's design was (1) a fully functional bathroom with an enclosed shower and more drawers for the stuff women dream of having without having to expand the existing footprint, (2) more cabinet space than we need in the kitchen along with ease of access to cast iron pots and pans in slide out drawers, (3) taking advantage of a wall that was purposely left blank because we thought we would be walking into whatever was there, (4) a lighting system that still has its "OHMYGOD!" moments and (5) something that we can be proud of!
To this day, my wife can't stop talking about what our kitchen has become. Now, were there any things that we didn't like that occurred during the project? Yes. But as with any home improvement project the size of ours, there are always hic-cups. Understand, this is a project that can never ever be completed in a half hour of a This Old House episode.
Understand that the people on the job are not Tommy Sliwa or Norm Abram. Understand that nothing is perfect and there will be (bleep) ups. Rather than extoll the negatives which there will always be in any home improvement job, I will tell you that Kinetic Kitchen and Bath owned up to everything on the job. We are more than satisfied to say that we would highly recommend them.

When we chose Kinetic Kitchen to remodel our two bathrooms, we selected them for two reasons: Excellent quality workmanship in a reasonable time frame. Unfortunately, they did not meet either of those expectations. (It's ironic, because the Kinetic Kitchen designer told my husband and I that contracting with them is like a car dealership, which I interpreted as paying top dollar knowing the work is going to be excellent in the least disruptive way.
Instead it feels like we went to the used car lot to buy a broken down Ford Escort for the cost of a Lexus.) This is what went wrong with our remodel: - The project was estimated to take 4-5 weeks. It took over 19 weeks. (Yep, over four months). - The grout was two different colors. They took out the grout and replaced it, and it was still two different colors.
Third time, they used a coloring agent to make it all the same color. They blamed the manufacturer, but in my simple Google searches the first rule is to start with enough grout to do the job, which they didn't do. So hopefully this coloring agent they used will not fade in the next few years. - They have no idea how to put in a heated floor. They had no plan.
They ordered cable for 70 square feet when they needed 30. When the 70 feet didn't fit, they doubled up the cable sporadically around the floor. The floor had extreme cold and hot spots. So after the whole bathroom was done, they had to take everything out, rip the floor up, and replace it all. One would have thought this time they would create a proper plan that would work. Nope!
Their plan was just plain wrong. My husband ended up contacting the manufacturer for guidance and created the plan to map the cable. Kinetic Kitchen did not even know the spacing between the pillars and they proposed laying the heated wires under our vanity (which is against the manufacturer's recommendations). Again, they truly had no idea how to install this. - There were lots of little things, which goes to my next point, they did not care about the details of the project.
The lights were touching the wood of the mirror, the threshold was a big block of wood and not tapered to be even with the floor, the doors were not sanded enough, and the towel bars were not properly anchored. To their credit, when we pointed these things out, they fixed them to our satisfaction. But sometimes, it was not an easy conversation to convey what was wrong and to get them to agree to fix it.
Why not just pay attention to the details the first time and do a good job? They just wanted to be done with the job. - When we requested to speak to the owner Vic about the problems, he refused to speak to us. (This is the same man who came to our house to determine feasibility of our remodel, who then proceeded to talk to us for 30+ minutes about his daughter going to a Canadian college cheaper than colleges in the US. Suddenly, he didn't have time to deal with us?) - FINALLY, I SAVE THE WORST FOR LAST.
One of the Kinetic Kitchen employees flipped out and started screaming at my husband and I. Apparently he was upset about having to fix the floor and felt the best way to deal with it was to yell at the customer. Yep, with our children in the house, he yelled at us to "LOOK HIM IN THE EYE." and he had to "EAT CROW." by being here. His boss was standing right next to him as he yelled at us.
After that, he continued to work in our house (can you say awkward?) and apologized three days later. We were at their mercy at that point and just wanted them to finish and leave. My words of advice if you are considering Kinetic Kitchen, JUST DON'T. We are normal people, not overly demanding. We paid SO much money and just wanted the job done and done well.
In the end they fixed everything, but the whole point of using Kinetic Kitchen was to have the project done right and within a reasonable time frame, at which they completely failed. If that doesn't convince you, the very unprofessional behavior of their employee yelling at the customer is a huge red flag.

We worked with Mark on designing the cabinets for our kitchen and bathrooms in our new build. Mark made the process so easy. I showed him some photos of my tastes, and he did most of the selections. We had a follow up where we modified a few things here and there based on my use of the space. Not only did he do an amazing job with our cabinets, he also recommended select appliances for our home as well.
Now having lived in our home for several months, the quality of the Koch cabinets are superb, as they look comparable to custom high end. If I could go back and do it all again, I wouldnt change anything. If you're looking for your dream kitchen or bath, go see Mark, he will not disappoint!

We were interested in a bath remodel. We met with a consultant and set up our first appointment to come out to the house. Mike arrived took measurements and told us what we could expect. They would do an entire tear out to the studs, replace plumbing and add all new appliances (tub, shower, toilet, sink) and cabinetry. We set a date for the estimate and to pick out tub and tile and such, got to our appointment, agreed on all the numbers and specs and we set a date for one more walk through. An hour before our next walk through we got a call informing us Mike was no longer working for Kinetic and that we would have a new consultant.
She and the owner showed up and proceeded to tell us that everything we had been assured would be done could not be done! They would get back to us with a revised estimate in 48 hours. We finally had to call them a week later where we were told the material list had been underestimated by almost half! That the labor cost would be slightly less because they would not do a total gut but that our entire estimate was now 2500.00 more!
We asked for our deposit back! At no point was there an apology for mistakes made. I sincerely hope that their work is better than their customer service. Good luck if you do hire them.
