Today, Caruso Cabinet is owned and operated by Dennis Caruso, whose grandfather originally started the company in 1935 in McKeesport. His father took over the business from the 1950s through 1970s, and Dennis has been running it since the early 1980s. Throughout all that time, Caruso said the only problem the business has had has always been the same: "People think we're more expensive than we are because of the quality of work we do, " he said.

Three years ago I had Caruso put in a new kitchen. The kitchen was done beautifully with great workmanship. However I developed a water leak in the bathroom above my kitchen cabinets. My plumber tried to fix the leak by going in the ceiling and reaching over the cabinets. Unfortunately he couldn't reach the leak. I called Caruso and spoke with George and he sent two workers out to remove the cabinets. Dave And his partner removed the 2 cabinets and microwave without a scratch After the plumber fixed the leak, they came back replaced the cabinets, and repaired the hole in my ceiling. I am so relieved and grateful for their expert work. You can't even see where the work was done. Looks as good as new. Thanks. SB

We had a kitchen done by Caruso recently. We were more than happy with the job. From the incredible designs by George to the quality workmanship of Tim and Dave, it was all we could have asked for and more. We wanted to use our existing granite and backsplash and were able to do so with the precision that Caruso provided. Being in the home improvement industry I can truly say that Caruso is a top notch company. Looking forward to future projects with them.

Great custom quality that we couldn't find at the "other" kitchen centers. Not only did the crew do an excellent job building and installing the cabinets, . their own employees did all phases of the remodeling including the electrical, plumbing, tile, plaster, painting, etc. If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. Thanks for making my kitchen remodel as painless as possible. I want your guys to do my bathrooms next spring. I'll be calling you soon.

See the attached photos of our bathroom. We used Caruso Cabinets for a complete renovation of the master bathroom (including all the plumbing and electric, as well as a new floor plan, new fixtures, etc.) and could not be more pleased with the process and the outcome. Everyone we encountered through Caruso Cabinets was incredibly knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and very patient with our numerous questions.
From the start, when the designer George gave us an estimate, we were impressed. He took time to answer all of our numerous questions and gave us advice about our remodeling project. George came up with attractive, functional designs that maximized the available space utilizing the 2020 Design software. Tim and his crew; who have been on average been employed by Caruso Cabinets for over 25 years, were not only highly skilled, but also friendly and courteous, taking exceeding care to minimize disruptions to the rest of the house. Tim is a true artist when it comes to laying tile and doing all the carpentry.
We ended up with the bathroom of our dreams. Denny, the owner and George actually stopped by several times to make sure we were satisfied with how things were progressing. We would recommend Caruso Cabinets without hesitation and will definitely be calling them again as future projects arise.

Bad experience and a waste of time. One of the kitchen designers came to my townhouse and spent 45 minutes measuring out my kitchen to work up a quote. He told me I would have a quote in a week-10 days; however, after not hearing back after three weeks, I could not get in contact with the designer and he made no attempt to contact me. After speaking with one of the owners, I was still never contacted by the designer.
I couldn't help but wonder how long it would take for them to actually complete the work if it takes over a month to just get me a quote that I was supposed to have after just one week. Perhaps my budget for the project was too small for their interest. Working with Caruso resulted in nothing but a waste of time. Don't expect good service or quick turnaround times.
