I had a unique doorknob problem and they were great! Super responsive and we quickly figured out a solution, they gave me several options to choose from and had it ready to go less than a week later. I would highly recommend them!

Great hardware selection and even greater customer service. I ordered door knobs, hinges, cabinet pulls and all was delivered quickly. The people who work here really are good at what they do and asked all the right questions so my door hardware was ordered correctly.

An absolute gem of a store. The selection, prices and service cannot be beat. I emailed my kitchen measurement/drawings and Linda consulted with me on what size handles to use for each kitchen cabinet door. She spent a good 20-25 minutes with me pulling samples and reviewing kitchen drawings (thinking about where to use knobs vs. pulls and what sizes). I looked at 5 different stores for knobs to match our kitchen cabinets on our new home and had NO luck. I was referred to The Knobbery and upon arrival they matched the knob in LESS than 5 minutes! The knobs had to be ordered and they exceeded my expectations in getting my items in stock. The staff is unbelievably amazing. They are so friendly and a pleasure to work with.

If I need any knobs in the future, even if its a common knob, I will drive the extra 20 minutes from my home because that is how good of an impression they have given me! Thank you very much!

Sooooo many choices. More than the box stores. Great prices and most of all spectacular service. We renovated our kitchen and I gave them the design which they filled out my design so that we purchased the right mix of knobs and handles. BTW. They also sell doorknobs and bath accessories.

The Knobbery and the staff were excellent! They were very helpful as I was changing out all my hardware in my kitchen, and they had so many options available. The delivery came about one week later and everything was correct! I would recommend this place again to anyone, please go here before going to Home Depot or Lowe's!

I purchased cabinet hardware here for my kitchen and bath remodels and can't say enough positive things about my experience. The first time I went I did made an appointment for my kitchen and Ashley spent almost 2 uninterrupted hrs helping me with my decision. The other times I went without the appointment bc it was a smaller project and although they were busy they did get around to helping me.

Everyone I've worked with is really knowledgeable about the stock, finishes, and lead times of the products. They're showroom is impressive and I can't imagine a better place to choose hardware from. I would recommend knowing what size you need and bringing pictures of the project to help them narrow it down for you and if you need more one on one attention make an appointment.

I don't know what people are so upset about. We've purchased from here twice for two different houses and never had a problem. If you've ever been in this store you realize from the first step in, it's going to be hardware overload. There is just so many options it can be overwhelming. I do NOT blame the staff for not following me around from the moment I walked in.

I want to look around at the thousands of options and narrow it down before I have a shadow. There's just too many choices to have a salesperson follow you. When you see the approximate design, color etc get someone and they will help you pick out what works best for you in both style and price. My husband picked a set he loved. Of course what he picked cost more than the kitchen remodel and the guy helping us found the almost identical style for a fraction of the cost.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERIVE. We built a new house about four years ago. We ordered all of our hardware form The Knobbery. Everything we went well, the service was excellent and the pricing was very fair. Fast forward to today, we need to replace one of the door handles coming in and out of our garage. We email the Knobbery late night outlining our issue.

We got a response first thing in the morning to help us fix our issue and Tom has been awesome in his communication and service to help us get things repaired. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Knobbery.

I went in the Knobbery in Arlington Hts, IL on Northwest Highway. When I said I had a question, the young lady behind the counter asked me in a mocking voice of like a 5 year old, "What is your question". I thought this was really weird because it turned out that was not her actual voice. She had such an attitude like she was doing me a big favor by assisting me.

Any questions I had, she gave me short insufficient information in which I had to keep prying more information out of her. She acted like I should know all about hardware and like I was taking up her precious time. When I picked a handle to sign out, she took my information, put the handle on the counter and never said anything like thank you or have a nice day.

Then I saw the others behind the counter kind of laugh. This place should be called the Snobbery. I will never go back. This girl must be the owners daughter or something if they allow her lose business for them. You can find the same hardware other places.

This place is such an amazing hidden gem! Every time I go here I find something else amazing and unique that makes my trip Always worthwhile and gives my home many a conversation piece for any level. Plus they have fantastic staff that really cares about what you are looking for as well as helping you save money at the same time! You can Not find this type of service or product at the big stores and Tom the owner here goes out of his way to make sure everyone is happy. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

I walk in and no one greets me. When I walk around to the register both man and women look at each other and ask each other who wants to help me. Mind you it's a small cramped dusty old looking store. I'm at the end of building my new construction home in Glenview. I definitely won't be using them and will not be recommending them to anyone.

Know their stuff? No problem finding what you need? Has everything? Knowledgeable? Um, no. I've purchased things here in the past and this time went in for 26 window sash handles. They are an unusual size. They don't have anything to fit - which is okay. But they were not interested at all in referring me to another place or giving me ideas about how to solve my problem. "Nope, sorry" while he looked over my shoulder watching another customer browse.

I live in the next town and never knew this store was here. So, I was excited to find it. I walked in and was not greeted at all. I browsed around for about 20 minutes before I finally had to ask for some help. I was looking for drawer pulls and a mailbox. The girl that helped me was young and made me feel like I was bothering her. I left and went back a second time. Same thing. I walked in and was not greeted. I went once around the store and left. Good for you if you can let your potential customers walk out the door.

If I could give zero stars I would have. The Customer service is non-existent. Walked in at 2.15 with my husband - we were the only customers in a Saturday afternoon. There were a few kids behind the counter, loud kids I might add. Three adults as well. They all had a grand time discussing vacations and looking at their phones. We walked around for about 15min., waking right past them several times.

We were never greeted - not a "hello" or "can we help you" - just ignored. I felt like I was intruding on private party. I will never set foot in that place again. I do recommend Knobsdirectcom. Their quick chat service is great and easy returns. Need I say the The Knobbery will be the next small business to shutter and I won't be surprised. If the owner is reading this, your staff working 8/1 should be fired.

Who owns this company? Who is at the top of the chain? Thats one question you can count on NEVER having answered. THis company makes up its rules as it goes along, and lies about it. Do they take back knobs? Yes, but only if you don't need them to. If you do, then they don't. Restocking fees? Sure, except if you ask them why there is a cost and ask them to prove it. Lynette, the sweet talking nice sounding sales person, is secretly a liar who will say anything to make a dollar.

I have tried to resolve things but she does what she wants to do. Really, this is KNOBS. Go online, you can get cheaper prices, and more reliabile service. Dont be FOOLED by their voices and demanors. They screw their customers.
