We selected Ener-G- Tech after a visit to the showroom on Surf Avenue Stratford CT. We selected a new fiberglass front door as well as a new storm door. The new front entry door is perfect and matches the other condo doors perfectly.

Over the last 20 plus years and working with Greg Young Ener-G Tech has completed many home improvement projects at our house, both large and small. They have replaced all the windows with modern, state of the art replacements. They have also did a total remodeling of the kitchen which included the installation of new cabinets, tile flooring, and granite counter tops.

More recently Ener-G Tech replaced our old wooden outdoor deck with a larger composite type deck that requires very little maintenance. They have also done smaller jobs such as door and slider replacement. I have always been satisfied with the work they have done.

I went in looking to buy and have installed three Provia doors and two screeners. After a brief conversation with a gentleman, he left me on my own to try to get a better grasp on what I needed. I left confused after this experience and went elsewhere.

I made the mistake of buying my gas fireplace from another dealer because their price was lower, only to find out afterwards I got charged for all kinds of "extras" which really should have been part of the installation package. I then decided to call Ener G Tech because I had a problem with the fireplace and Ener G Tech was great! They helped me and didn't even charge me! Nice people who know their stuff and care about their customers! I'd recommend them to anyone!

My screen door broke and customer service was phenomenal from this company. The representative from the manufacturer came and assessed the damage and it was fixed without question. The staff at Ener-G Tech were very nice and professional. I opted for a mid priced replacement window plus an exterior door to close in my porch. The windows were quite large so handling and install was a bit of a challenge but once installed they looked good and worked well. I would definitely recommend them.

Remodeled two bathrooms, bringing them from 1970s style to present-day look. Replaced and expanded shower in master bath; replaced tub and sink/vanity in other bathroom; and retiled both bath floors. Our story: Several months after buying our house last year 2016, we called Ener-G Tech to have someone come out to clean/service our 3 gas (propane) fire places in our house.

Also make sure they were safe to use without any gas leaks with the old units. They answered our phone call and we got scheduled for them to come to our house within a few days. Paul showed up on time and did an excellent job servicing/cleaning our old fireplace units and also took the time to talk to us about perhaps a different operating unit that you wouldn't have to get on the floor to start the pilot light.

A few days after he was at our house we made the time to drive to Stratford to check out their show room and see their gas fire place units set up and operating. (Great show room by the way!) We fell in love with the idea of just a click of a button to start them! No more climbing on the floor trying to light them. Right their we ordered 3 new automatic starting units with a click of a button.

A week later all units were in at their store and their contracted plumber picked them up and got scheduled with us to come out and install them. (Please note: We learned plumbers install the gas fire places because of the pipes.) Here it is, almost a year later after purchasing/installing these new gas fireplace units and we LOVE THEM! We will continue doing business with Ener-G Tech and will recommend them to anyone!
