Aaron's Touch Up And Restoration

I had two very old antique consoles and a dining table set sent for full restoration right when Covid hit. When the table came back it was damaged from their transportation. The two consules were never restored.and All they did was sand them down and stained them. I paid for a full restoration price and all they did was sand down the old paint and stain it. They didn't fix the damages.that I had asked to be fixed and instead I got nothing but excuses.

We have a beautiful dining room table with 3 extension boards that seats 16-18 and is about 70yrs old and made from fine maple. Finally needed to be refinished and chairs replaced. Met with Ricky at Aaron's and the table and extenders were stripped and refinished to a more modern color and finish after meeting with Ricky. Superb job done. Also just refinished our teakwood breakfast table and two extenders.

Also beautifully done. In addition we replaced the plastic connecting/locking pins with metal and they fit perfectly. We highly recommend Aaron's and had no significant issues.

Ricky was great to work with. He and his team turned around a refinish of a dining table set that goes back over 60 years in our family. Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration brought it back to life. The whispers and laughter can be heard all over again! His team also recovered 6 other chairs with new fabric and they all look great!

The pretty much corner the market but weren't the most pleasant to work with, especially over the phone.

I am a small cabinet maker in Sanger that is not large enough to justify having my own finishing crew. I have been using the Aaron's team for all of my finish work for the past 6 years. Their work is of AMAZING quality and their attention to detail is unmatched. They truly make my work shine!

I rarely write negative reviews or disparaging comments but I am very upset with this company. In March 2021, I contracted with Aaron's Restoration to refinish my front door (exterior and interior) for $2,500. I thought this was a reasonable price; $1,250 per side. When it came down to scheduling, I informed them I only wanted the exterior refinished.

I kept waiting for a revised quote not knowing they revised the quote to $2,250. Therefore, they came out and refinished my front door and sent me a bill for $2,250. Not only do I feel I was grossly overcharged but $2,250 is unjustified FOR ONE DAYS WORK ON THE EXTERIOR ONLY.

Fantastic work and customer service. Almost want to break furniture just to work with them again (ok, maybe I'll hit the garage sale circuit instead :)). A leg broke in a move and it was fixed so well that I can't even see where it broke. I also had them update a chair that's been in the family for who knows how long - results blew my mind. I almost donated it but now I'm thrilled I kept it.

Wow! The people at Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration are amazing. We had them strip our cabinet doors & drawers of paint and sanded. They did an amazing job at a very fair price. We moved into a new "semi-custom" home a couple of years ago. The builder allowed the painters to use crappy paint and do crappy work. As soon as we moved into our home, we new we would have to get the cabinets repainted.

The builder had the painters come out and repaint the cabinets with the same crappy paint. Our builder is a d**k, so I gave up on pressing the issue. Anyway, my wife and I are in our 60s and decided that being retired, we couldn't afford to hire painters, so we started the project ourselves. Stripping the paint of the first few cabinets was a lot of work.

So Happy that I thought to look for a company to strip the doors & drawers on our second phase of this project. Anyway, thanks to Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration, our job ahead of us is going to be so much easier. I emailed Rachel at Aaron's, sending her pictures, sizes and number of items I needed stripped. Rachel replied back to me the next day.

She was so on top of things and knows her business well! If you have any restoration, paint or repairs- do not hesitate to call this company. Thank you again Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration! You saved me a ton of work. P.S. We drove almost an hour and a half to get to Aaron's from outside Weatherford. It was well worth the 3 hours of total drive time.

Aaron's Restoration in Addison is a great find. I bought a high end table but wasn't willing to pay a high end price for the chairs so they helped me color match the chairs to the table and they ended up looking like a perfect set. The team over there was very gracious, professional, and responsive to my texts and emails. I highly recommend them.

Beautifully refinished a spooled legged side table that had been painted over multiple times. It's now been restored it to its natural beauty and I couldn't be happier! Great service, quick turn around, highly recommended.

Our beautiful 1820s English amoire was severely damaged when our house flooded. Kat Sullivan did a fantastic job rebuilding pieces, matching the grain and wood tones, and making the piece look even better than. before the flood. We didn't think it could be restored, but it has, and we are delighted. Thank you Kat, Rachel, and the delivery guys.

Big shout out to the good people at Aaron's Touch Up Restoration for restoring our office furniture. I am obsessed with quality in my own work and hope for similar work when hiring others. That being said I was really apprehensive before beginning this project but right away I realized everybody at Aaron's feels the same way as I do, and they take a lot of pride in their craft. If you are looking for a furniture restoration company I would highly recommend contacting Aaron's in the Dallas/Addison area.

Numerous follow up phone calls, texts, pictures sent with no response from Rachel. 2 weeks later I receive a text they can't help. They obviously don't need my business. Poor customer service. Go elsewhere. I found at least 3 other places.

Chet is great. did fantastic work on damages done by OTR moving company. while there was one issue, they immediately corrected without hassle or charge. everyone makes mistakes, you judge a company by how they correct them. Chet stood up, fixed the problem and was a true gentlemen about it. now sending even more work to them

The work they did on my 1970's 12 foot sofa and Victorian leather lounge chair is nothing short of outstanding. Not only did I get it completely restored but also met the owner to pick out fabric. Highly recommended, and for a small fee they pick up and deliver. The delivery crew whole delivered it today where pleasant and very caring and delicate with the process.

I've used Aaron's a number of times and have had a consistently good experience. Projects have included cleaning-up poorly filled nail-holes on mahogany cabinets and trim carpentry and dealing with the dings that inevitably follow a move. Techs are experienced, professional, and take pride in doing a good job.

I had a great experience here. I have a piece of antique solid wood furniture that I mistakenly tried to spray paint white to cover up the years of water stains and dulled varnish. Aaron's came within $20 of their estimate and the piece came out beautifully. You'd never guess the thing is half a century old. I sent Aaron's a photo of my dresser to match the stain to and they totally nailed it.

It took longer to get the nightstand back than they initially guessed, but they were responsive through Yelp messaging and I wasn't in a rush. I'll be returning here for future refinishing work!

Wow, what craftmanship on kitchen cabinets and our dining room furniture. especially the furniture. Worth every penny! Great customer service too. We will use them again. But beware, re-finishing cabinets is a messy process so be prepared!

I want to sing the praises of Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration. I had a real problem with my upholstered bed in that the infrastructure of the bed was very poorly designed and after 4 years, the framing was starting to buckle. I didn't want to replace my bed, but I was at a loss on how to fix it. Finally I decided to call Aaron's after finding them on Google.

The ratings were great, so I took a chance with my beloved bed. I called and immediately started discussing the problem with Braxton, sent him some pictures and he was able to diagnose the problem. We set up a time for his team to come out to my home and collect the bed - the team was prompt, professional, and polite - all the attributes you would want when trusting anyone with your prized possessions! Anyway, Braxton invited me to the office to discuss the restoration job and I left feeling very comfortable that the work would be performed at the highest level of professionalism.

I was not disappointed. Braxton recognized the flaw in the bed's infrastructure, discussed with their in-house carpenter and built a brand new support base for the bed! Imagine that - my broken bed has been completely rejuvenated. Upon completion, the delivery team came by, set up my bed and made sure I was satisfied with the work and the bed's placement in my room.

As added kudos to Braxton and his team. my bed is a light dove gray color - it was picked up, worked on and returned with not a single fingerprint or smudge. THAT, dear friends, is good ol' American customer service. Aaron has earned a customer for life.

We have used Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration several times, to repair grandma's old dining room furniture, replace seat covers, repair hand woven rocker, etc. Now, he is at the top of our To-Do List again today as we pack up deflated cushions on old but precious wicker rockers. I knew they worked well with wood, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear that he has a full upholstery shop. Have something that needs to be fixed: Give Aaron's a call.

You cannot trust these people. They came to my house, did a sloppy unreadable estimate. When I asked RACHEL to redo the estimate so I could distinguish between one item and the other, CHET got mad and told me that they did not want my business. What is this High School? Who is AARON? I never got a call from any AARON. Beware of idiots who waste your time!

I am totally impressed with Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration! They restuffed our leather couch and loveseat. Rachel at the office was quick to respond and provided direct answers to my questions. Rick and the other delivery person ( sorry I didn't get his name) were so personable and understood my soft but firm request! Not an easy accomplishment! Great customer service! I called about refinishing my kitchen table and they replied back with a very reasonable quote. Once the table was finished and returned, it looked absolutely AMAZING! This table was my mother's and she would be thrilled to see it if she was still here. They took great care of it and completed the table in a very timely manor. Definitely would recommend this company to friends and family!

Aaron's did an awesome refinishing job on my grandmother's rocking chair and a child's rocking horse. The rocking chair was over 100 years old. I must say I was a bit worried about getting it refinished since it is such a sentimental piece of furniture. Thirty years ago it was painted white for my daughters' nursery and now we wanted to restore it for my future grandson's nursery. Aaron's worked hard on trying to remove the primer and paint, but it was to no avail.

So we opted for a faux walnut finish (the wood is mahogany) and it turned out just beautiful. My daughter LOVED it! The rocking horse matches perfectly and just shines in the nursery. I would recommend Jordan, who worked diligently on these two pieces for about a month, in a heartbeat. This is no overnight job! Patience is a must! and his work shows the TLC he put into both projects. Thank you, Rachel, for coordinating our communication! (Wish there was a way to share before and after pics)

I am not one who gives these stars out lightly. So i am gonna tell you that Aarons is absolutely incredible! I bought a French settee at an auction and the folks tightened a couple of legs and totally reupholstered it. The attention to detail is perfect and the price was awesome! I love nice things but have to work for them, so when a bargain comes along I grab it and keep it. Aarons will always be my "go to" for items requiring a pros touch.

We are in the process of downsizing and moving to a smaller space. As part of that we need to downsize our furniture and chose to keep some of the smaller family heirlooms and "repurpose" them. These included a mahogany sofa table that extends to a 6' dining table, some old oak chairs needing refinishing and new seats and a couple of bedside tables.

All needed some level of repair and restoration! When they arrived "home" they had been transformed to the beautiful pieces they once were! WOW! We will so enjoy them through this next phase of our downsized lives . Thank you Aarons - you were fun and awesome to work with - and we love the results.

I had 2 chairs that were very high quality dining chairs & I needed them repaired quickly for a good price. Chet was able to order the woven cane & they look fabulous! I've worked in high end furniture for a long time & it's hard to find Good restoration & furniture repair; but these is one I would definitely recommend!

1 month ago, Aaron's took a 200 year old family dresser that needed repairs they returned it to me today. They did an okay job with the repairs (the bottom of one drawer did not look very professional, but I gave them a pass on that, it needed work. The price was as quoted. Here is my problem with them: they broke (admittedly in first transit) a 200 year old hand-silvered mirror that was with the dresser. Again, I could forgive that.

Do you know how I found out the original mirror was broken. I saw the difference in quality and called back to ask. The company said nothing until I confronted them with it. According to Rachel, the office manager, she thought her guys would have told me. They said nothing. I called and spoke with Rachel a week ago, asking how the project was going.

She said nothing. When the event happened, they could have called me. They did not contact me. I will never use this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. The work was okay, the integrity was extremely low. Don't risk your own heirlooms.

After my father in law body slammed my antique wooden childhood highchair, I wasn't sure what to do. I couldn't fix this with duct tape, not even the wood-colored kind. It just wouldn't do. I found Aaron's though my trusty Yelp app and decided this was the spot based on a photo of a wooden chair in pieces then restored by them.

If they could fix that, surely they could fix mine! Aaron's did a great job on my item. You cannot tell there was any damage! The price quoted was fair, in my opinion. Upon hearing the happy news, my father in law declared that it should have been made from oak in the first place.

When my custom-made coffee table arrived (one I splurged on) I was disappointed to see that a corner had been damaged. Never would I have thought the damage could be repaired. Considering the table was hand made in India, I thought it best to allow Aaron's to take a shot at the repair before having a new one made and having to wait 8 weeks. Oh my, my table just arrived and the repair was so perfect I could not even find the corner they worked on. Aaron's did a magnificent job.and it only took 3 days.

From Rachel in the office, to the two delivery guys, that took extra care with my table and were so very nice, I highly recommend this company. I'm huge on customer service and this company delivers great customer service and great workmanship.

Had these guys pick up my lazyboy sofa and love seat. Given that this type of work is labor intensive and that these are recliners they did an OK job. I'm sure they are better at smaller pieces. When they delivered them back to my house and I looked at the invoice versus the estimate it was almost four times the price. I was in sticker shock because with the price I paid to have them reupholstered I could have bought a new set.

In summary after some back and fourth they decided to bring down the price. I appreciate them working with me but I'm not so sure I would have gone this route knowing how much it was going to come out. A more accurate estimate would have been helpful. I am attaching before and after photos to let you decide.

I worked with Travis and he was great! More importantly, they repaired two broken chair legs and the work done was perfect. Exceptional customer service! Will definitely be returning should we need any more repairs in the future!
