This company wanted to charge me 250 dollars to come to my house to take a look at the kitchen for an estimate. If you decide to go with the company, it does get applied to your project. However, you eat 250 dollars if you don't go with them.

Working with Gail was fun and made this remodeling process so much easier. We were looking for a clean and modern white kitchen that worked well with the current style of our home. Gail gave us exactly that! Gail listened to our thoughts and ideas and was always responsive to our questions or concerns. We highly recommend the Kitchen Company for its beautiful kitchen design and great quality products. We are enjoying cooking and spending time in our new kitchen!

My wife and I just finished a total "gut" of a kitchen in Madison CT. Initially, we solicited the opinions of a contractor or two who were friends. We also hired an architect to design things. Not fully satisfied, we - thankfully - decided to turn to Ron Fisher of The Kitchen Company to come up with his design and his recommendations for cabinets, surfaces, appliances, etc.

His ideas far better reflected our vision of what the space should look like. All his thoughts were practical yet beautiful. And the cabinets he helped us choose were spectacular! As well as reasonably priced. I can't count the # of times he came out to the house to study the space. He was also very hands-on as the cabinets were being installed. (By the way, their installers were also excellent.) We are fortunate that we happened to turn to Ron and The Kitchen Company. The finished result was more beautiful, practical, and more affordable than the other options we were considering. Thank you Ron!

John Fecke worked closely with my wife and I as we renovated our kitchen from top to bottom after a flood. He was terrific in all phases of the work - guiding us through options, coming to our home to take detailed measurements, creating a plan for the entire renovation, and then following up to make sure the work was done as planned. We were also impressed with the carpenter Chris who he had install our cabinets and the local contractor Paul whom he recommended to manage the job.

All the work done was of high quality, on time, and responsive to minor issues that came up. We simply couldn't be happier with the Kitchen Company, and have already recommended John and the folks there to several friends.

2 years ago I had a kitchen installed from The Kitchen Company. Ron was outstanding! I have a fairly small kitchen with some unique challenges. Ron utilized every inch of space to its maximum potential. I loved the kitchen when installed and love it even more as time goes on. Ron had suggestions I wasn't so sure about. Glad I followed his recommendations! In addition to his professional expertise. Ron's personal commitment to the customer is OUTSTANDING!

Gail was an professional and an absolute joy to work with. Instantly she understood what I wanted to do. She was on top of all the people who remodeled my kitchen and was a stickler for perfection. I never had to worry. I absolutely love my new kitchen and laundry room. I would highly recommend Gail and The Kitchen Company.

Contrary to other reviews here, my husband aid I wandered into this store during a snowstorm on a Saturday and found one of the designers there. He said he was just there getting paperwork done but would talk to us. He ended up spending over two hours talking to us about our project. We had him and two other designers come to our house and by far, the Kitchen Company was the best.

The designer, Dave, questioned us thoroughly about our lifestyle and how we envisioned the use of the space. He opened every drawer and cabinet to get an idea of how we lived. Others just asked "what do you want" and drew something up. Dave came up with creative suggestions for some problem areas that others did not even address. We hired him and he paired us with a contractor (Shepard Brook Carpentry) whom we cannot say enough good things about.

Typically one hears horror stories about the contracting business and we have been victim of our own horror story in the past, but this was a very satisfying and pleasant experience. We ended up with a kitchen we adore that was given the highest caliber of workmanship and care. All of these people take pride in doing high quality work and giving the customer exactly what they want.and some things they didn't know they wanted! I would recommend them freely and without reservation.
