Friendly and helpful, I was a little intimidated but the guy in the shop was happy to help. I am very glad I am not buying wood at home depot or lowes anymore. Most the wood here has flat surfaces but you need to joint the edge. You can joint with a router table or something else if you don't have a jointer. Also they will joint wood for a fee.

They have a wide selection of lumber species, far beyond what you find in the hardware stores, all at good prices. I've purchased walnut, hickory, cherry, and maple boards. They come in various thicknesses from 4/4 up to 12/4 for some species. They even have figured and exotic woods. The full selection and price list is on their website.

Best place in the region to get good, quality lumber in my opinion. Bruce is always very professional with his assistance. They have a great selection of domestic woods like oak, cherry, walnut and mahogany as well as exotic woods like Purple heart, Padauk and Zebrawood. Many others woods as well and in many sizes. To get to the lumber section, go to the side door near the back of the parking lot. The front is for decks, cabinet display and ordering. You will want to head directly to the back for raw lumber. Designed and ordered out kitchen cabinets. They came out to our project, took detailed measurements, asked what we were looking for, and came up with a layout that no one else thought of that incorporated everything we wanted. They visited the project regularly even when we were having our contractor install the cabinets. The few pieces of trim that were broken or found missing were ordered instantly and came quickly. Extremely professional and great at what they do.
