Our creative and experienced team of designers interact closely with and listen carefully to the needs of our clients to translate their vision into a functional and beautiful design to perfectly match their style. This design process consists of an initial meeting, measurements, drawings, and ultimately this information is transferred to 3D computer renderings. Proper installation is critical and ensures a successful project outcome. EHL Kitchens provides complete installation services for your project.
EHL Kitchens has been designing, constructing and installing cabinetry and countertops since 1965. The company originated as East Hartford Laminate which specialized in laminate cabinetry and countertops. As trends shifted toward all-wood cabinetry, the company relocated to Glastonbury in 1969 to expand the business and shortened the name to EHL Kitchens.
EHL Kitchens did a wonderful job working with us to design and produce our new kitchen, mud room, laundry and bathroom cabinets and island. We were thrilled with their attention to detail and willingness to work with us through some back and forth to find just the right island size/shape as well as the perfect color for our cabinets.

I would like to start by saying I am a very picky person. I went to three cabinet designers before I was referred by a friend to EHL. Mario just gets it! I described what I was trying to do, which was extremely complex, a large custom kitchen in my Avon home, that included facing a 630 gallon reef aquarium with custom made cabinet fronts and custom made drawer front blanks for over the support frame.
The quality is fantastic, the hardware he uses is top notch and the service was phenomenal. He and his staff were excited and proactive to help and the price was very reasonable aswell! Not often in todays marketplace do you find a truly superior company like this! 5 Stars! Pictures to follow as we are still finishing the granite install! Sorry, I forgot to update until now.
Here are some photos. Mario and his staff have still been great and continuing with great service with little details and fixes. Like I said, I am very picky! Take a peak we are very proud of what we have designed! REVISION 10/24/18******************************************************** These cabinets are still fantastic. We are so pleased with our decision with EHL cabinets we cannot stress it any more!
Aside from the amazing original service, The near perfect manufacturing and the fantastic staff. After a couple years installed the cabinets fit / finish and durability is outstanding! We have had virtually no scuffs, or dings or dents. Our 35 pound dog is not gentle on them. Great company Great place!
