We had Kitchen and Bath Authority re-do our entire first floor. Verlissa was our designer, and she had wonderful ideas, couldn't have done it without her! They gutted our kitchen and bathroom, had our fireplace redone, floors sanded and re-stained, replaced all the doors in our home, totally gutted our mud/laundry room also.

Bought a bathroom vanity. 20 degree weather had to check the vanity and top out of the box for damage and take it up the driveway myself. Didn't check the handles. Big mistake. Three handles had black on the gold. Called them and because it was past 30 days tuff luck. I have to find the handles myself. The vanity was delivered Feb 16. Installed March 28.
I will never purchase or recommend anything from them. Buy anywhere but there. If I would have purchased this from Home Depot I could have easily had it taken care of. Saving 50 bucks wasn't worth it.

We are gutting and remodeling a kitchen. I wanted to discuss possible design options. They insisted I pick out cabinets, doors, and countertops as soon as I walked in, without having any idea about the space. They had no pricing info available. The designers didn't know how much their countertops cost per linear foot, or even what finishes, cabinet lines, or door types were comparatively more or less expensive.
Couldn't answer basic questions about quality or differences between products. We went with another company. If you already know exactly what you want, this might be a good option. Staffed by friendly people who seemed stressed.

July, 2019 In October 2018, we ordered master bathroom cabinetry from Kitchen and Bath Authority, Wheaton, Illinois. We were less than pleased with their products and customer service. KBA measured the room incorrectly, so several pieces of the cabinetry did not fit. We had four different professional bathroom designers out to our home to see if any of them could work with the incorrectly measured cabinetry we purchased from KBA.
We wanted to salvage as much of the order as possible due to the expense we had already incurred. Unfortunately, none of the designers were able to effectively make use of any of the KBA cabinetry. We have now found ourselves with a garage full of unusable cabinets and had to start over by ordering all new cabinetry from a different remodeling company.
On April 24, 2019, KBA promised a partial monetary refund for the incorrectly measured cabinetry. To date, we have not received the full refund amount we were promised by KBA. Lots of wasted time, money and materials.

Terrible service and doesn't take responsibility for their errors. Stay away and use a legit merchant. They shipped the wrong product and I received a bill for the return shipping. Also the contractor I hired for installation informed me what was received was not what they were hired to install. As they should have they charged me for showing up but KB Authority told me that was my problem.

Verlissa helped make our vision come to fruition in finishing an area in our basement into a little kitchenette (wet bar/popcorn bar). We are so happy! We helped tell her the things we wanted (fridge/freezer, microwave) as well as other little goals and she was able to transfer all of that into the design. She even presented several beneficial suggestions, which I loved in regards to the under cabinet lighting, placement of appliances, and the types of one-touch motorized and slow closing cabinets. She was able to fully maximize the space we have and everything looks great! Thanks so much Verlissa!

I called this company with the goal of obtaining a third and final bid for an early fall remodel. I knew they had been in business a long time. The job would have included custom cabinetry and counter tops for my kitchen and bath (using the same foot print) and flooring for 2/3 of my main floor. The woman who answered the phone, to me, sounded very short and clipped, as I began to describe my needs (I never got to finish).
I figured I could provide the scope of work (SOW)on site. Upon trying to schedule someone to bid, to my dismay, I discovered she would be the one coming out I explained that I worked Monday-Friday 8-5 pm (like many). Long story short, she asked if I could get off work early, provide her a drawing (?) and wait 10 days for her to come out. I was also informed she wouldn't be out on a Friday because she didn't work on Fridays There is no pretense of needing/wanting work here.
I thanked her for her time, but told her I was looking for a company who would be happy to accomodate me, not the other way around. I will be going with one of the other 2 companies.2 days to get their bids (and THEIR drawings).
