I can't give a high enough review for this place! The owner, Nicholas Ciner, is knowledgeable, hard-working and honest. They were patient with me as I made my countertop selection. The biggest plus, was when I went to other granite and marble shops, they told me they could not install my new countertops without destroying the travertine backsplash.

As you can see below, Nick successfully removed my old dark green Uba Tuba and replaced it with the Taj Mahal white quartzite! His co-worker, Soloman, was also polite and hard-working. When we had a problem with our soap dispenser, they came back- no questions asked. The reason they were able to do such a wonderful job without destroying the backsplash, is prior to working with marble and granite, Nicholas installed kitchen/bathroom tile.

On top of all of this, he charged me far less than what the other companies were asking for this quartzite. They look like a small outfit, but Nova Marble and Granite is truly a "gem" in the rough! Thank you so much, guys! Judy and Ken Rohrer

While I was going to the Home Depot in Merrifield, VA, I saw Northern VA marble was right across the street. I stopped in and spoke with Nick. He was very knowledge and scheduled a free estimate the next day and my kitchen was remodeled later that week! I am more than happy with my granite countertops!

The showroom is beautiful with plenty of granite slabs to choose from. Nick ( the owner) fabricates granite countertops in the unit next door. I couldn't get there until after work, so I called and he was nice enough to open for me after normal operating hours. It's open on Sunday too.

Nick is one of the BEST contractors we've worked with. Originally we were only going to have him install granite around the fireplace, but I queried him if he could do more jobs for us, such as remodeling our powder room. Nick provided me an estimate within TWO hours of leaving our house. The estimate was fair, detailed and accurate. Not only did we like his price, but the quality of his work (and his team) is unsurpassed. Nick told us the job would take a week.

And that is exactly what it took. The team arrived ON TIME every day, were respectful, and cleaned up every night. As a few of the below reviews mention, Nick is "old school". He and his team know their job 100%. I really can't say enough positive things about their work. Plus, their showroom had a large selection of beautiful slabs. The total cost of the job was $11,000. There was no hassle, no overruns. I absolutely will hire this company again.

I highly recommend Nick, who owns NOVA Marble & Granite. He did an outstanding job installing granite counter tops at a price that was so reasonable my contractor didn't think it was even possible. His price was about 40% lower than Counter Intelligence. He also cut my existing counter tops so we could reuse them in a different part of the home. Nick is "old school" in the best possible way - you can't beat his quality or value. It's located around the corner from Marble Systems, where you can look at slabs of stone, tile, etc, He has a longstanding relationship with them, along with a good discount. Nick was recommended to me by a friend who has used him several times.

OK for showing he was on time. Going to his warehouse turned out to be more trouble and a waste of time. The granite we choose he didn't have. We choose another he said he didn't have enough. Backsplash he wouldn't budge to give it to us. He wanted 250 dollars more when we are already spending over 13,000 dollars! He started to get an attitude and every selection you want it will cost extra. Don't waste your time you can find another hundred retailers that will have what you want at that price.

Called nova granite to inquire about a bathroom remodel. I set up a time for someone to come out and talk about the project and cost estimate (and re arranged my schedule to be home). They didn't show and didn't call. Clearly they don't want my business. Hope they don't treat all customers and potential customers this poorly.
