Awesome business to work with! They installed my countertop several years ago, and I had them install new backsplash a few months ago. When I called this week asking for a little touch-up work around the backsplash, the owner got on it right away, and sent out someone to do the work today! No waiting around and wondering if my request would be ignored! They do outstanding work and are so easy and pleasant to work with! Highly recommended!

I had a granite countertop, sink and faucet installed almost a year ago. I had a concern about my faucet and within one day I had an appointment for Phillip to come and check. Phillip is thorough, knowledgeable, polite and an overall professional. He addressed my concern and checked everything to make me feel better and the best part, he explained why there wasn't anything "wrong" with my faucet, but just needed an adjustment. Phillip deserves to be recognized with kudos and a raise (or at least a bonus) because he's been the same professional every time he has serviced my home (this is the 3rd visit).

Great Company! Very reliable! We've contracted with Granitech two times and have been extremely happy with their work. They did a kitchen remodel for us and it turned out beautifully. We recently had a bathroom shower remodel done and it turned out perfect! I won't hesitate to use them again! Customer service is terrific! They stand behind their work and they want to make sure you are pleased with the results. They offer a 10 year warranty on their workmanship and stand behind it.

I love my new kitchen from GraniTech. They were able to create a completely new remodeled kitchen in 4 1/2 weeks. Their imaginative designer was able to hear my objectives and turn them into a 3D design after an initial meeting at their headquarters and one at my home for measurements. GraniTech's showroom has an extremely large selection of cabinets, back splashes, and countertops.
They are a one-stop-shop where you not only make your kitchen selections but they actually have countertops in their cutting/polishing shop. They will help in any financing, appliance and lighting selections. The GraniTech President and owner came out to my home to ensure I was happy with progress and introduce me to his implementation manager. I can't say enough about the GraniTech technical team skills and ability to stay within their implementation schedule.
As a one-stop-shop they were right on mark with their estimated cost and are very competitive. I highly recommend GraniTech so much, that they are now upgrading all my bathrooms.

We recently had GraniTech do some work in our kitchen. We had used them successfully years ago, and we thought we'd try them again. We were 100% pleased with their work. They communicated with us frequently and professionally, and their installers, who typically have been with the company for many years, were very skilled and respectful of our home.
The job was completed on schedule and with the highest quality and professionalism. The CEO, Ali, provided outstanding advice and attention to detail for what was a relatively small job. We highly, highly recommend GraniTech for kitchen and bathroom jobs! Their pricing is fair, their creativity is excellent, and more than anything, they care about their customers and the value they can provide to them.

We had a Kitchen remodeled by Granitech. We were very happy with the entire experience with all Granitech staff. The designer we were working with was extremely helpful, she was also very responsive by phone and email throughout the project. I was especially impressed that the cost and the timeline of the project did not change from start to finish.
There was someone working each day, all day throughout the project timeline. I would strongly recommend Granitech to others. Besides the excellent customer service, high quality work.

Granitech is the best you can get in this area. I had a new town house 20 years ago when I was first referred to them by my cousin and thankfully I did my beautiful floor ( marble) and granite for kitchen with them. The job was better than perfect and so was their customer service even after a year when couple of stones became cracked since a new home always adjusts and settles months after.
I still miss that beautiful job they did for me. 20 years past and I build another house and I could go nowhere but to Granitech and this time not only I did my tile floors and kitchen granite but also my kitchen and bath cabinets and once again, the job was perfectly done. Ali has the widest selection of most beautiful and exotic granite, his staff are very attentive and great at their job, on time and professional.
I recommend Granitech to all my friends and family and you. Hassle free and professional detailed work with great selections. They are all passionate about their job and you can feel it. I will only use them if I need again.

Granitech Inc. recently remodeled my master bathroom. They had replaced my kitchen countertop a few years ago so I was already familiar with their work. If you're looking for a contractor Look No More! Granitech provides the highest quality material and craftsmanship on the market at a reasonable price. The owner of Granitech is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of his business.
His workers have been employees of the company for several years and are not subcontractors. I found each and every one of them to be skilled, professional, kind and very respectful of my home. They even provided additional suggestions and details to my bathroom design that I had not thought of as the project progressed. I highly recommend Granitech for any kitchen or bathroom plans you may have!

GraniTech did the demolition and build out for our newest Body & Brain Yoga & Tai Chi studio. The work involved removing and replacing most of the drywall, installing recessed lighting throughout, wiring the sound system, reworking some of the plumbing, and a complete bathroom remodel. The GraniTech employees were polite, skilled, hard working, and took good care of my space and belongings.
We know going into the project that there were a lot of unknowns, and the project manager was incredibly flexible to be sure I got exactly what I wanted. I will definitely work with GraniTech again.

Honestly, I would give GraniTech 4.5 stars if I could. Their prices are excellent. The design consultation was initially fine. In the end I was satisfied with the kitchen remodel. The selection of cabinets and counters was excellent. They accommodated us when we had some minor design changes. The craftsmen working on site were courteous, cleaned up each day, and explained and deviation from plan.
Minor errors were readily addressed. There were miscommunications among the staff that caused some headaches. We felt that we had to be aggressive to get GraniTech to hold to their schedule. Even then, we were a few weeks delayed. I definitely recommend GraniTech to friends and colleagues. I caveat that they thoroughly go through what they sign up for to make sure that the work progress smoothly.

We used this company eight years ago for our countertop. They had a wide selection of exotic stone and we found a gorgeous piece for our kitchen. It was a large project. We returned today to look for a small piece for a wetbar. Was completely disappointed. The person "helping" did. It know what I meant when I said I wanted stone with movement. If you are going to be the one left in the office to help customers.
Know the words. Then. She showed the back room. And I kept waiting for her to say this is the way out to the warehouse. There was hardly anything there. I asked for movement I got specks. I asked for gray she showed me white and brown. Needless to say. They need to take the sign off of their trucks that they have exotic stones. And just work with builders.

Very surprised this place gets good reviews. My experience was less than satisfactory, mostly related to the workmanship and installation which was subpar. Show room has the quality I was expecting but my kitchen and master look nothing left or that. See posted photos. They don't bevel sink edges which standard with most places and I asked for 3/4 thick back splashes - they looked at me like I was crazy.

We had used Grani Tech in the past to replace our kitchen counters and was very pleased with the granite and back splash. This year we decided to remodel our kitchen and after checking out other places and getting quotes, we were happy with their design and quality of the cabinets and decided to go with them again. We were promised once all the cabinets were delivered it would take 2-3 weeks to complete from start to finish.
They started working in May and it has now been 11 weeks and still has not been determined complete by Fairfax County. The demo and install started before it was discovered not all the panels for the cabinets were order, and we would have to wait an additional 3 weeks for them to arrive. The original sink was not be replaced, however, they cut the counters to the wrong sink.
After being without water in the kitchen for 3 weeks, convinced us to settle (mistake) for a smaller sink, so they wouldn't have to replace the counters. In addition to the above, the wrong faucet was order and installed, which was later replaced with the correct faucet but installed for a left handed person which they later also corrected. The final straw came when it didn't pass the counties final inspection due to the garbage disposal wiring not meeting the current electrical code which changed in 2011.
As re- modelers you would think they should know what the current codes require. To top all this, immediately after it failed inspection we received an email asking for authorization to charge our credit card for the final payment. When we responded withno not until it passed inspection, the owner called asked us to release final payment, we refused.
In addition to paying for a high end kitchen, the many additional weeks cost us dearly in work and vacation time. Much could have been avoided if the upfront sales were followed through as agreed. Be careful of settling which is what they would like you to do for their mistakes.

The final product was lovely, but way off schedule! Despite the extra 2 weeks, they did a good job. Zula did a nice job explaining my options. She communicates well with the staff. George made sure everything was done well, though it's hard to catch him for updates~ so make sure you call & E-mail. The builder website is a nice way to see progress if you are out of town.
He is through, so if there are any issues he does come out to make sure you are satisfied. Hence the delay in the job. I would caution that they expect payment promptly and you may need to let the accountant know that the job isn't complete yet! So they could communicate a bit better within the office. But that aside, the remodeling is beautiful and I am very satisfied!

I recently had granite installed in my kitchen. The sales experience was great, and the Sr. Designer was knowledgeable and courteous. However, the installers showed up an hour late to their scheduled appointment window, to which the scheduler said she had it in her books as different than the written email confirming my appointment. On top of that, I received 3 calls and 1 email in less than 24 hours after the install hounding me for final payment. The granite looks great and is what I wanted but their customer service needs some significant improvement!

UPDATE. Here is your laugh of the day: The owner of Granitect made the emotional decision to rescind the discount since I left a less than favorable review here on Yelp. But really, the discount was so insignificant compared to what I paid, that I will gladly pay it (checks in the mail). I think that goes to show how much this company lacks integrity and professionalism.
I am left with a product I'm not happy with, but I will just take it as a lesson learned. I would rather ensure that consumers know how bad the salesmanship and professionalism of this company really is. Marketing 101 teaches "word of mouth" can make or break a company. I have some satisfaction knowing that my 2 neighbors who saw the truck parked in front of my house, also wanted a recommendation, to which I gladly provided the details.
My review of Granitect was honest and too the point. It seems this company has some issues. Check out this other site that gave similar reviews: https://granitechreviews.wordpress.com. My only regret is not checking Yelp and other sites before hand. Oh well.

Later this month, Granitech is starting their fourth project for us over the past six years. We started small with a granite countertop for our kitchen. Two years ago they designed and rebuilt our master bath and custom closet and wired and installed some additional lighting. They completed much of the work while we were out of town and finished on time and within budget.
The work was beautiful. This year they remodeled our kitchen and installed beautiful tiles and wood flooring in our living and dining rooms and the front foyer. The next project is remodeling and repairing flood damage in our basement. Why do we keep coming back to Granitech? Because their work is beautiful and competitively priced. The work crews, foremen and Ali and Gizem have always been professional, courteous and responsive.
And the work crews always clean up after themselves. In addition, they've always responded promptly to follow up requests like readjusting a cabinet door months after the job was complete. Granitech gets our highest recommendation.

I hired GraniTech to come out and repair a seam between two slabs of granite in a kitchen counter. The color of the granite was full of greens and greys - so the seam epoxy needed to be matched to the color of the granite - not something that everyone can do well. Ali - the owner of GraniTech actually came out to do the work. He cleaned out the old material from the seam, spent a good bit of time mixing the epoxy and adjusting the color of it to get just the right match.
He finally got the color where he wanted it, and applied the new epoxy, cleaned up the area around it, and then added some black marks to the epoxy seam to make it better blend in with the rest of the granite. Standing back a few feet, I could not even tell there was an epoxy seam! Great job! He is very knowledgeable about Granite - and told me that the kind of granite we were dealing with came from Saudia Arabia.

I do not normally post to such sites, but the quality and professionalism demonstrated by GraniTech was worthy of compliment. I received a strong recommendation from our realtor after the recent purchase of our home; however, I became a bit nervous after reading some of the other postings on this site. Based on our initial meeting with Ali, GraniTech's owner, we were thoroughly impressed.
He definitely knows kitchen design and has an excellent eye with respect to color palette. We were predisposed to a particular color of granite, and he recommended something he strongly felt would work better with our appliances and cabinets - he was definitely right. Based on all the compliments we received, we are glad we followed his advice. Overall, not only was the promised time schedule was met, during the job all the workers were on-time, friendly, and extremely competent.
We also found the price to be better than other quoted offers and with some aspects of the job, we were not only quoted a cheaper price but also received an increase in quality of the product. In short, I would highly recommend GraniTech for your kitchen or bath remodel without reservation.

Horrible! Granitech installed granite in kitchen and powder room and marble in the master bath. All 3 installs were inferior. 3 failures on all 3 plumbing jobs. Came back and fixed but now plumbing is leaking again in the kitchen. Marble in the master bath had to be removed and recut, but second time it was polished on the edges as requested. They took templates but still could not get as close to wall as custom would suggest.
Lots of silicone filler. Shop manager came to my house, said everything looked good. Lowest common denominator work, not even close to examples in their showroom. Now he does not extend the courtesy to return my phone calls.

They have great contractors- I had my kitchen remodeled and they did a great job with the granite. However, their customer service stinks. I noticed a problem with my cabinets and left 2 voicemails and 2 email messages (with pictures of the problem). No one called me about it for at least a week. When I did get a call, one of the first questions I was asked was when I was going to pay the remainder of my bill.
When I spoke with someone to tell them about the problem, they also told me that it wasn't a big deal because it was a "budget kitchen" anyway. I'm not sure I would call $7500 "budget", but that was the response I got. The cabinets took 3 weeks longer to come in that they should've taken, and I had to bug them about scheduling the work because no one was calling me about it.
When I finally got through to them, they wanted to schedule the work around the 4th of July (I guess they assumed that everyone is free during holiday weekends.). I'm happy with the way the granite looks, but I wish I had gone somewhere else for the cabinets.
