My family moved to Omaha in 1966 and I have been here ever since. I went to High School at Roncalli and paid my way through college pouring concrete in summers. I graduated in 1982 from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of science degree in Industrial Management where half my classes I studied industrial arts and the other half I studied business.

Kitchen cabinet refacing is a method that brings new life to the cabinets by applying new exterior surfaces.
Cabinet refacing is a process where the cabinet doors, drawer fronts and cabinet moldings are removed and discarded leaving only the box and framework. The existing box and framework is either covered with new wood veneer or prepped and painted. New custom cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and moldings are then put on the existing cabinets.

If you want a contractor who knows everything about kitchen design, who will listen carefully and do his best to help you achieve your vision, someone who communicates, is forthright about pricing from the word go, and has the integrity to do exactly what he says he will do, you want Brian Thelan at BTI Construction. From first meeting to final check, working with him was a wonderful experience.
He is a consummate professional, an all around nice man, he uses suppliers who are a pleasure to work with, and he hires quality subcontractors. We had some rather different choices for materials, but he was so helpful researching everything and making sure he was comfortable with the results they would produce. My kitchen went from sad to smashing in a very short time with a complete gut to the studs job.
My custom cabinets are gorgeous! My Italian glass backsplash is stunning and my soapstone countertops are my new favorite thing in the world. We cook from scratch, all the time, and we had serious hardware and gourmet gadgets coming out of our ears. This new kitchen houses everything and looks like I paid a million bucks for it. The lighting is stellar, the storage drawers and pantries are endless, and I love my underlighting and the uplighting on top of the cabinets. We've been entertaining and cooking like mad and the ease of workflow is just amazing. We couldn't be more pleased or grateful. Thank you Brian, you rock!
