Madres Kitchen is a 10/10. We used them for a corporate event, and the whole process went very smooth. Planning, food, service and communication were exceptional. Highly recommended.

Excellent caterer. We used for our daughter's post-wedding brunch. Easy to work with. Clear, prompt communication. Beautiful food. Flexible allowing bagels and coffee cake from other vendors. Highly recommend!

Erika and the team at Madres Kitchen are amazing! We worked with them for our wedding (60 guests) in March of this year, and used them for full-service catering (taco bar), bartending, and day-of coordinator services. It was incredibly easy to work with them. I planned my own wedding, so it was important to me to work with vendors who were organized, professional, and could help me fill in the blanks when needed. Erika was very responsive to my many questions, and met with me multiple times to walk through the day-of timeline template she'd created (which I was also able to share with other vendors so that everyone was on the same page).

In addition to day-of timing, Erika also helped us plan the layout at the venue, which we needed for the ceremony, dinner, and dance floor; she and her team did a beautiful job of setting up the space just as we'd envisioned it. And the food - oh my gosh the food was SO GOOD.and our guests agreed! Additionally, we had some waitstaff for the family tables, and the staff was so kind and helpful.

The team truly went above and beyond to make sure our guests were comfortable, and that we were happy throughout the wedding celebration. Highly recommend Madres Kitchen - from the planning, to the food, it was an incredible experience!

We hosted a small Friendsiving event and wanted to serve hors d'oeuvres. I appreciated that Madres was willing to cater such a small event. I went to their kitchen to pick up the food and reheated it in our oven on the event date. Guests loved the food as did we! It was easy to finalize a menu with some back-and-forths to accommodate food restrictions and a pleasure to work with Erika. Highly recommend!

Madres Kitchen catered my 40th birthday party. They were a joy to work with from bringing to end. During the quoting process they were able to customize a menu that fit my budget and planning was made easy with their friendly staff. The night of the party we had three staff who pulled off a delicious spread with efficiency, friendliness and talent.

The party was so wonderful! Everyone had a great time and several people commented on how great the foods was! The staff were extremely skilled, efficient, clean, fast and friendly. They were so, so kind to box up our food and help with so much of the clean up. I will definitely hire Madres Kitchen again if the opportunity arises.

Madres catered a luncheon for my company's clients while they attended a class. We had the Italian buffet. We were provided with an attendant to keep the buffet stocked with warm, delicious food. They also provided vegan and gluten-free options, which are so tasty you'd never know they were vegan nor gluten-free. We had so many compliments on the food from our guests. They were extremely happy with the luncheon! We will certainly be ordering from Madres again. Thanks Kristen, Heather, and team!

I had a delightful tasting dinner here with friends the other night. Wine pairings were provided, the food was delicious and Kristen did a fantastic job making sure we were well looked after. They are very professional and I would recommend them for any catering job.

Madres makes a delicious taco with all the accompaniments you could ask for. The server was fantastic at getting setup and was a genuine pleasure to be around. Downside - They were at least 1-1.5 hours late and then had to set up. With only one staff member, it took a while until the group was able to eat. While the wait was worth it in terms of food, it was embarrassing to have recommended Madres and have them show up so late.

We worked with Madres Kitchen for a lunch workshop and couldn't have been happier about the food and service. Osiris was very communicative and responsive to our group's particular needs, and service on the day of the event went smoothly and helped us to concentrate on running other aspects of the workshop. I enthusiastically recommend them and look forward to working with them on future events!

From beginning to end, Madre's was an absolute delight to work with! With my mother in law in charge of catering for our wedding, Madre's worked so well with the two of us to arrive at just the right menu for our taste and my mother in law's budget. Day of, our place settings were as beautiful as we hoped, service was seamless and very pleasant, and the food both looked and tasted amazing!

Our guests raved about the cocktail hour appetizers, and Madre's was even kind enough to package up a little spread for my wife and I to enjoy in our honeymoon suite later that night. Many, many thanks, ladies! We'll be passing your name along when we can!

They catered my wedding, and it was absolutely fantastic. Food was amazing, service was impeccable, staff was friendly and on top of everything. I would recommend them very very highly, we could not have been happier. They were on top of setup and take down, which was huge since we had the ceremony and reception in the same space. Hire them!

Amazing! Kirsten took such great care in helping me plan my husband's Birthday party. The food was AMAZING! The presentation was gorgeous and our server Pedro and Bartender Evan were fantastic! I can't recommend them highly enough!

Madres recently catered a reception for me and did a wonderful job. Kristen was very helpful throughout the planning process and very responsive to my many emails. We had a pretty casual event of around 50 people with heavy apps and a bartender. We were able to provide our own alcohol and they also let us bring in our own cheese plate and dessert, which was super helpful since we had a small budget.

All the food that Madres catered was delicious and I got lots of compliments from my guests. My event was near the stadium and there happened to be a concert scheduled the same evening - so it was basically mayhem and parking was scarce. The Madres staff (Pedro and Erica) acted like it was no biggie and just went with the flow. Their professionalism truly helped me keep my calm throughout the night. I'd highly recommend Madres to others.

We had a wedding reception with about 150 people and everyone complimented the food. Not only was the food great but the staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. We kind of gave them free range for planning the menu and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I needed to provide a catered dinner for 13 with a strict budget. Kristen provided me with a menu that met all of the dietary restrictions of the board members without compromising any of the luxe, delicious flavors. The grilled chicken in white wine shallot sauce was so great; well-cooked and not dried out. It was a crowd pleaser and I wanted to keep dunking bread in the sauce after all the chicken was gone despite how full I was.

The roasted potatoes were great; not super exciting but a nice side dish with that delicious gravy from the chicken. The roasted, stuffed sweet potatoes filled with orange-tarragon quinoa with caramelized onions and garbanzo beans were healthy, filling and loaded with vegetarian protein. Yay! The salad was fine, the bread (as I previously stated) was perfect for dipping in the sauce and even the butter for the bread was beautifully salted. The desserts were yummy but I didn't really have room by then. I will use Madres for future catering events and encourage you to do the same!

Madres was AWESOME! They catered my wedding back in July and I would not have gone with anyone else! Heather and Kristin were super duper chill and on top of all my crazy requests/suggestions. They were wonderful to work with, their food is delicious, and their staff are all fantastic. It was an absolute pleasure to have their positive presence at our wedding reception.

My husband and I had Madres cater our October 2011 wedding at Mt. Baker Community Clubhouse and we couldn't be more pleased with the great job they did! Actually, they were the first and only caterer we met with, but we were so comfortable with them from the very first meeting (and the food was delicious -- we loved their hazelnut-crusted salmon in particular) that we decided to go with them right away. Madres was so gracious and responsive to our millions of questions leading up to the event and so understanding about our continuous need to change numbers, tweak the menu, etc.

They understand how important budget is and are happy to tailor a menu to work within it. They are truly a full-service caterer, and will do everything from setting up your decorations to taking the garbage out. They are also honest and straightforward, and there were zero tacked-on hidden charges. Kristen (one of the owners) was in charge of our event and she did a great job leading her team.

They all worked very hard to make sure everything got done on schedule. Madres has our hearty recommendation! And if you are having your event at Mt. Baker Community Clubhouse, they know the venue inside and out and will ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Madres have been nothing but wonderful when it came to hiring them as our wedding caterer. They really love their work, and it shows! We tried 3 caterers in one day, and the food they gave us to try was hands down the best. My parents and I had an endless list of questions, and they never seemed to mind. They've been nothing but accurate, timely, pleasant, and humorous in all of our communications. (There are a lot of communications for a wedding!) When the dancing started, I was happy to see them getting down while they were still working.

I am SO glad we picked them for our caterers. No one else could have been that great to get along with and provided SUCH a great value with their super fresh and delicious wedding feast. Thanks Madres!

I found Madres Kitchen through vendor fairs. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to order from them to cater a work event. I love supporting a woman-owned green small local business. They get their food and drinks from organic and sustainable sources whenever possible. I ordered sweet potato and black bean quesadillas, cheese and cracker platters, veggie spring rolls, Thai chicken skewers, cookies, brownies and organic coffee. It was all delicious and healthy! I definitely recommend them and I look forward to using them again.

I love the slogan, "These mothers can cook!" I just tried this catering company for an office lunch session and it was pretty delicious. The box lunches came in good portions and were quite healthy. The bread was all very fresh and the cookies were super tasty. I had a Chicken Caesar Salad. The lettuce was clean and fresh, the chicken was perfectly grilled.

The only reason I'm giving 4 rather than 5 stars is because I thought the dressing wasn't flavorful enough for me. That being said, the fruit salad was a great addition. I will definitely be ordering again. Madres uses organic and locally-produced ingredients. That also use less packaging for the lunches in order to produce less waste which I greatly appreciate - it also made clean-up easier!
