Scane Custom Cabinets

We just wanted to take a moment to post a very positive review about Scane Custom Cabinets. We met with Zach to get a bid for a bathroom cabinet as we were remodeling our master bath. Zach provided great ideas, and we felt confident enough to accept his bid. Before construction, Matt arrived to assess a unique feature of our cabinet (we have a Jacuzzi tub motor underneath it).

He developed an ingenious access door integrated into the cabinet. Once installed, the cabinet became the center of attention of our new bath. Despite some supply chain issues, Scane kept us up to date with a steady flow of communication. We definitely appreciate their excellent work. Thank you!

We were looking for new cabinets to remodel our two bathrooms and scane cabinets flashed on our instagram. We didn't know such a gem family owned business was right in our backyard in Brea. Zach was so professional from the beginning walking us through the process. We received professional plans from him, made adjustments, picked the color and stain and had samples made for us for final approval.

The scheduling was flexible and the installation was flawless and everything came out amazing. HIghly highly recommend working with Scane if you are looking for very high quality custom work, an honest business and on time work that you won't get anywhere else.

Great job on repairs to my cabinets after a slab leak (moisture removal company drilled holes along bases of cabinets to help with drying out process.) Matt came up with a plan to make my kitchen beautiful again. They were able to match my existing wood stain and also touched up all the other little marks caused by floor repair guys. If I could this review would be minus stars. Less than two years ago my husband and I down sized to a single family home, wanted to make it our own, with a plan to fix the new house up with custom cabinets. Not just any custom cabinets, we thought we found a business with integrity and pride in the work that they provide to their customers however after a year we noticed that the cabinets below the sink had paint chipping, We kind of let it go for some months, but thinking that it shouldn't be chipping so soon or at all.

Last month in January we then noticed in the inside of some upper cabinets in the back, there is bubbling and cracking. This is custom and very expensive cabinetry mind you. We called Matt to see if he would help. At first Matt was willing to come over and check it out but we could tell right away that he was putting the blame on our contractor that worked on our Kitchen remodel.

We don't understand why he insisted on calling our conractor because Matt's crew put the cabinets in. It didn't make any sense. Matt was very unyielding, insisting that there has to be a leak of some kind behind the cabinets. We had the roof checked, opened the wall and no sign of any water damage whatsoever, but that just wasn't good enough. Another call to Matt stating that there is just no leaks. Matt just wasn't hearing that.

He wouldn't give us any suitable or appropriate response. It was exhausting talking to Matt. Again he mentioned our contractor's work on the backsplash. That it might get ruined if we were to take the cabinets down and address a leak. Mentioning that he has no responsibility or guarantee on the cabinets. Unbelievable, there it was! He doesn't want to take responsibility for his workmanship.

Not even 2-year- old custom cabinets that are already falling apart as if we had them for 30 years. We have to pay someone else to fix them. We are deeply disgusted about putting our faith in a business that states on their website about pride and dedication, quality and understanding that they want to make the cabinets of your dreams.

Had a flood in my kitchen in December and I needed a cabinet shop that could replace all my base cabinets and match the upper cabinets both in style and color. Matt Scane had done my neighbors kitchen and I liked the work he did. He helped make the process go as smooth as possible and referred me to his granite guy who also did I great job.

So happy that my neighbor recommended Scane to us. When it came time to remodel our kitchen, we decided to go with Scane and they sure delivered. The team worked with my wife and I to design our new kitchen and they gave us some good ideas to make the most of our space. We will be remodeling our three bathrooms soon and I am happy to work with Scane again in the future.

We could not be more pleased with our new Scane cabinets. The quality and workmanship is superb, and even though we have had custom cabinets in many homes in the past, these compare with the very best of them. The process of working with Scane is highly seamless. This is a family run company which takes great pride in the quality of the work they deliver, and in the service which they provide.

They also carry a wide array of state of the art finishes from very traditional to highly contemporary design--they can do anything. There were some last minute glitches in our kitchen reconstruction, such as needing to swap ovens unexpectedly at the last minute after the cabinets were already installed, and Scane was able to make the necessary adjustments to accommodate our needs in a matter of a few days. I highly recommend this company.

If you don't want to read this entire review, let me just start by advising you to hire Scane Cabinets for your job; you will be so glad you did! We talked to three cabinet guys before deciding on Scane, and we couldn't be happier. Price-wise, Scane was right in the ballpark with the other guys, but we loved that Scane makes everything in-house, and after a tour of their shop, we could see how organized they were.

All that combined with Matt's genuine passion and enthusiasm for his business and wanting to please his customers made our decision a no-brainer. I must admit, we probably weren't the easiest customer they've had, but they treated us as if we were their only and best customer, and each and every person we interacted with was super nice and accommodating.

In fact, I don't think I've ever had better customer service anywhere else! Scane is a family owned, long-standing business in Brea, and their desire to please their customer is only surpassed by their workmanship. Our kitchen cabinets turned out looking like high-quality furniture, and I must admit, they completely exceeded our expectations. (Sorry.the photos don't do the cabinets justice!) So, if you're undecided, don't be! I'm recommending Scane Cabinets to anyone and everyone.

Scane Custom Cabinets created beautiful bathroom cabinets for me. Their product was far superior to any other cabinet company in the area. The wood is great quality and well done. I love that they make all of their cabinets right here in Orange County - not overseas. They installed the cabinets themselves to make sure they fit perfectly in the space. I am more organized than ever because of the roll outs they designed for me. Their team was clean, polite, and professional. I highly recommend.

Matt and his team installed our custom cabinets almost four years ago. At the time we were considering another vendor that made prefabricated cabinets. We went with Matt as he said he would stand by his products and deliver warranty service afterwards. They went in flawlessly and 3+ plus years later we had some minor tweaking that needed to be done.

True to his word he had one of his repair guys, Jesus, who is a very nice guy, come out and touch up and repair everything. Matt's son Zach, came out last week and again, fixed everything to perfection. Since we installed these cabinets we have refereed two different friends to Matt. They are both very happy. A great family owned company.

I had my cabinets done by Scane over 10 years ago. I am giving Scane 5 stars for their customer service. I had to call them 3 times within the 10 years & they always fix the problem in a timely manner. I had to call for a broken drawer & for the other 2 times it was for a broken bolt on a cabinet. I have no complaints for the quality of the cabinets. Over 10 years & they are still in great condition.

Never used them for cabinets but have seen their work. Very good quality. I did use them to duplicate a moulding I needed and they didn't hesitate to help. Lynn Villa Cabinets.

Matt did a wonderful job on time and on budget I recently sold my home and the cabinets and island were a great selling feature, they actually help sell my home for over the asking price. Also they were in put in July 2004 and looked as great as the day they were put in.

Scane Cabinets did a great job on my kitchen! I love my new layout that works so much better than the original. Now my corner cabinet has a lazy susan in it giving us more storage that we can actually use. Thank you Scane Cabinets!
