Madewell Kitchens

Hats off to Madewell Kitchens in Pasco County for fabricating beautiful and affordable bathroom countertops! We searched high and low for quality and affordability. We couldn't be happier.

We were forced into a kitchen remodel after water damaged kitchen. We shopped several cabinet companies, received prices, drawings etc. We chose Madewell because of the value they brought to the job. James Madewell designed the kitchen cabinet layout based on how it should flow when cooking, etc. He had some great ideas and we implemented those, The installers were extremely friendly and professional We actually ordered our cabinets prior to having some beam work done (because of Covid 19 we were afraid the plant would shut down).

So as a result, after the cabinets were ordered, they had to redo one of the cabinets on the end to accommodate for the new support beam. There was no additional charge. The cabinets are beautiful and I love working with both James and Russ Madewell. I highly recommend them and their company.

We had Madewell Cabinets installed in 2011. Recently a couple of our cabinets doors started to sag, if fact one fell off. I called Madewell spoke to Russ and he had his installer Paul come to the house to fix the situation. They showed up on time, fixed the problem, and didn't even charge me even though the warranty had expired. I would recommend Madewell to anyone. They stand by their product.

Would not recommend took 3 1/2 weeks to get an estimate. Finally sent one because I kept calling. First they tell me they can fix cracks in my counter than they can't. I guess they just wanted to sell me new one. When sent estimate it is rediculously priced. Called about it and owner was very rude on phone. Not very professional!

I would give a negative star if available. My cabinets look great. But I have a few wobbly cabinets. I also ordered $450 worth of under cabinet pull outs that didn't fit. I picked out some alternatives over a month ago. Trying to get an appointment was impossible. I finally had my builder intercede and I got an appointment to install. Madewell was a no show because they didn't order the items on time. No call, no consideration for anyone else's time. My builder is going to get the items and install them instead. Stay away from Madewell.

From beginning to end it was a pleasure dealing with Madewell Kitchens. Donald Skinner as well as many other of the employees came out and they all did a great job. Any issues that I had were taken care of immediately. I would recommend to anyone!

I want to tell you about a Great Company & 1 of the Best Home Improvement Investment that money can buy, and that is updating your Cabinetry with Madewell Kitchens. You may think your getting a Great deal from these stores that don't specialize in Cabinetry, but are a Jack of all trades, all I can say is Good Luck! cause your gonna need it. People don't take the time to write a letter of recommendation, but have plenty of time to complain about something they have even caused themselves and write a bad review on a company that backs their work, before even letting them resolve the issue.

No matter what the circumstances may be, if you check with the bad references, you will find after complaining up a storm, and taking the time to bash the company, they had all their issues taken care of by an Outstanding company. There is not enough good things to say about this business. The products they offer are affordable and top notch. It is great to support this small business. They are very professional and knowledgeable about there offerings. The owner, Henry Madewell is fantastic and an all around honest, hardworking individual who takes pride in his work and his business.

This company was recommended to us by our rehab company (which I loved) so we went with them. The whole process took weeks due to forgetting shelves, wrong size drawer fronts, handles not ordered etc. Workers were very nice but our cabinet doors don't line up, some drawer fronts seem to be different thickness, some handles are crooked. When they came to install shelves that were forgotten they drilled in my cabinets (that had dishes in them) and left all the shavings. Honestly we could have continued to complain to our rehab company but we were tired of dealing with this company.

The owner/manager was rude to me after my rehab company called him and complained about things that were not done correctly. Go somewhere else and save yourself a HUGE headache.

I was promised a beautiful kitchen with a 1 year warranty. About four months after installation, the cabinet doors began to warp. I complained and several doors were replaced. I was told it was a bad batch of wood. More doors warped. I was told that it was due to high humidity and they would no longer honor the warranty, even though I complained well in advance of the warranty date.

Every time I called, the Service Mgr, Russ, said he would call me back. He NEVER did! I waited months to have the doors replaced. I have central air conditioning. None of my wooden furniture has ever warped. I am very disappointed in my kitchen remodel. None of the doors line up with the drawers. Some of the doors are noticeably warped. I am stuck with this mess and cannot afford another remodel.

This company does shoddy workmanship and does not stand by it's product. I am telling everyone not to do business with Madewell Kitchens. They take your money and do not honor the warranty. Shame on them for being so dishonest.

I love my new kitchen. After seeing what home impovement stores could do and how costly. I would send everyone thinking about remodeling here. I have a beautiful kitchen just what I wanted at half the price I expected to pay.
