We wouldn't be 50 years into this business without an amazing team of people. Founded in 1968 as a family owned business, Plain & Fancy continues to be run and owned by the Achey family today. Our family-centered mindset maintains top priority, allowing us to give back to the very same community that has supported us throughout our journey. Plain & Fancy founder John Achey's hobby was making cabinets. They were handcrafted, hand rubbed, extraordinarily handsome cabinets. The kind he'd be proud to have in his own home.

We had a custom kitchen done with Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry. We reached out to Plain & Fancy customer support with an issue with dovetails starting to come apart or that came apart on a couple of draws. The response was that this is not something that is covered under the lifetime warranty. Since they are the ones that manufactured the draws I would believe this should be covered with what is called a lifetime warranty.
They have said we should use a refinisher to get the draws repaired. Now we want to make sure that others are aware of issues with the draws that Plain & Fancy has before they make the mistake of ordering custom cabinetry through a company that will not stand behind their product. WARNING be aware poor customer service and poor quality.
