My wife and I bought a new house and decided to update the kitchen. Went to Budget Cabinets yesterday first because I wanted to support a local company. We were not thrilled with their version of customer service. The person we spoke to when entering the store definitely gave us the impression we were interrupting his day. We told him we were interested in remodeling our kitchen and without even looking up from his desk we were greeted with " Kitchen cabinets are here and continue around back" Then he got up and went into the back room leaving us on our own to look at cabinets and counters with no idea of where to start.
We walked around for 10 minutes looking a displays with no idea of what would be in our price range or what materials would work since nothing has any info on it but brand. We decided to go elsewhere because we certainly didn't want to ruin anymore of anyone's day. Ended up at Home Depot where we were not only helped but most of the displays were clearly marked with pricing and we were were actually helped. Budget Cabinets is not a place I'd recommend, kind of a strange business model and based on reviews we aren't the only ones to get the arrogant treatment

Bob Lloyd is a class act. His eye for detail and desire to make our dream kitchen a reality was evident in every conversation and visit. The Kraftmaid Vantage is a timeless choice. We were more than pleased with the finished product. No matter how many times I called or stopped by he never made us feel like a bother. The cabinet drawers slide with complete ease.
The spice rack and pan drawer were icing to the cake on our project. I couldn't imagine dealing with another cabinet company. He also referred us to a top notch contractor Lukasik Construction. Couldn't be happier! Thank you Bob we couldn't have done it without you!

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Budget Cabinets! I wish I had started with them but instead I spent weeks designing on Ikea to find out everything was backordered, tried RTA.com but couldn't get things in my budget and went to home depot and got awful service. Budget provided an awesome product as a price equivalent with Ikea. The design process was easy and there are plenty of displays in the showroom to help model your kitchen. I will absolutely come to Budget Cabinets again and recommend that everyone else do the same.

My initial interactions with Bob were very positive. He was responsive on coming to take measurements then told me that the wait time for Kraftmaid cabinets is 14-16 weeks. I was concerned because this pushed my timeline, so I took a Friday afternoon off from work so I could meet with him to talk about layouts. Again he was responsive in scheduling that time. However, when I showed up for our meeting, he had already laid out the cabinet plan without asking me what I wanted.
When I tried to give him the "big picture" of the layout I wanted, he interrupted me to tweak his design, instead of just listening. As a result, the meeting took about 2 hours that was frustrating for us both, I'm sure. We didn't quite work everything out, but he said he would finish the layout and send me a draft the next day. Saturday. When Tuesday arrived and I still hadn't heard from him, I called.
He said that a customer had walked away with the measurements that I had given him, and asked me to give them to him again. I was a bit frustrated-why hadn't he called to tell me that?-but I gave them to him again along with a measurement correction as I chose a drop-in sink instead of apron front. He said no problem, and that he would send me the updated draft the next day. Wednesday.
It is now Tuesday of the next week and I haven't received a call or email from him. My initial concern about delivery times has only been made worse and I am now 2 weeks along from our first meeting and haven't even placed the order. I have read the glowing reviews about Bob from others, and perhaps the excuses that he's given me about his internet being down, and customers walking away with my information, and the post-COVID rush, are true but in all I found his failure to respond as promised-even after a second chance and days of patiently waiting-unprofessional. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

This rating is for the first steps in ordering or kitchen. Dave at budget Cabinets was knowledgeable and patient. I will rate and post the overall results when kitchen is completed. I would work with Dave again. My kitchen has been completed. I was very happy with the whole process. If would recommend making an appointment. The people there will be very helpful when they have the time. It is unreasonable to ask them to leave a customer they are already waiting on. Picking out a kitchen is not a fast process.

I bought my kitchen cabinets from them in 2015 and, I was thoroughly satisfied and these very same cabinets would have cost me double at Home Depot. They carry the top brands on the market and, they can just about order anything that you would want. My experience with the staff was very very positive and, I would go back in the future.

My husband and I went to Budget Cabinets on Feb 18. We are remodeling our kitchen and wanted to avoid the "Big Box" guys and work with a local small business. When we arrived, we were pleased to see the cabinet styles we were interested in purchasing. It's too bad that no one was interested in helping us. We were not greeted by any of the 5 or 6 personnel working there.
They were in a back room chatting, I assumed, with another customer. The "customers" left the building and the personnel continued chatting and walking from front to back of the showrooms. We were there for at least 25-35 minutes, someone finally acknowledged us and I asked if we could get some help, though by this time I was thinking we should have just left the place.
We went with Dennis to a computer station in the back room to (I thought), to discuss planning our new kitchen. He asked us for measurements, which we had on paper along with a diagram of the kitchen. He made a copy, took our names and email address and nothing else. He said he would email information to us. We were never asked anything about our cabinet choice, colors, countertops or more importantly, the layout of the kitchen plans. Well, that was over 4 weeks ago, and so far.nothing.
We went with another company, that was actually glad to have our business and treated us very well. We were able to find the same cabinets and the designer was glad to work with us in planning the kitchen. Very disappointed and won't recommend Budget to anyone. Bad business ethic and rude salespeople.

Stopped by the to get some pricing info a couple weeks ago. Walked around for almost a half hour before being greeted and even at that, it was like I was a bother to them. I asked how much a typical 1010 kitchen would be in a cabinet I was taken to and he couldn't answer or even ask me what I was looking for as far as pantry, pull out drawers etc.
I just wanted a ballpark figure. I ended up at Home Depot where I got great customer service and the person I'm working with called me personally about a sale that's going on to save me thousands more off my bugeted price. (And yes, I'm using all plywood for my cabinets)

Very poor customer service. Took almost an hour to get a salesperson's attention. Once we did, he continuously walked away for extremely long lengths of time. A second salesperson that seemed to be a little more approachable and helpful, rolled his eyes when asked, "when you have a moment, we'd like some assistance." His reply received was, "I don't have many moments, but what do you want." think I'll go somewhere else for my bathroom vanity!
