McEwen's is a family owned and operated business, located just north of Seattle, in Lynnwood, WA. It was started in 1994 by Bob McEwen as a cabinet refacing business and quickly grew into full blown home remodeling. While Bob designs and leads the renovations, his wife Gail runs the office and they employ several other family members as well. As a small business McEwen's has a low overhead and in return passes on that savings to the customer. We have quickly become one of Western Washington's most affordable home remodelers.

Refacing kitchen or bathroom cabinets costs considerably less than replacing them. Depending on the size of the kitchen and the materials you choose for refacing, you may spend between $3,000 and $12,000 (Savings of 50% or more). Even at the highest cost range, however, you would spend more than twice as much to replace the cabinets because there are several hidden costs that must be included in a full remodel.

I looked at a number of companies! Bob was one of the only ones who would even come out for an estimate. The estimate was awesome and affordable. He makes all his own cabinets and runs a very busy but personable family business, so I like how he does all his own building. The cabinets he made us are sturdy and amazing. We love our kitchen! He also made us a fabulous bench that he suggested. It has changed our dining room for the better! He is super nice and we would recommend his company wholeheartedly!

Bob and his crew did a wonderful job with our kitchen remodel as well as our bathrooms. After meeting with Bob and getting a quote for the work, he was not only who we felt most comfortable with, but his bid was very competitive and reasonable for the scope of work. Not only did Bob keep to the timeframe he promised, which was completing the work prior to our wedding so we could have a new home for family to enjoy, but he was very accommodating when hitting any roadblocks.
He was able to make our vision a reality, stay within budget, and complete the project in the time he promised. We would highly recommend Bob to anyone looking to have similar work done.
