DreamBuilders Home Remodeling is a design/build firm specializing in kitchens, baths, and whole house remodels. Our showroom and design studio is located in Rancho Cordova, CA. Now in our 16th year of business, we have helped many clients create their dream homes. As a family owned business, we want you to feel at home and like you are part of the family when you come to our showroom and work with us. In order to give you the best possible service, we work by appointment only.

Phone Appointment: Our process starts with a phone conversation with our designer to discuss your needs and see if we are potentially a good fit. If mutually agreed, we schedule an appointment to come to your home. Introductory Home Visit and Space Consultation: The Owners, are Mike and Kathe Russell, a contractor and designer team.
Our goal is to make your design process fun and easy. We work with a number of trade partners, giving you access to the best products and service in the area. We are product dealers for over 150 product lines, including cabinetry, tile, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting, accessories, and much more! Below are some of the brands we work with.

We recently had our whole house updated. New floors (including new baseboards), new countertops, and all 3 bathrooms updated as well. We interviewed several design/build companies and are soooo glad we chose Mike and Kathe at DreamBuilders for the job. When we signed our contract with them, we had no idea that COVID 19 was about to change everything.
We chose to move out for our remodel, and a week after we moved out, California issued a shelter in place order. Somehow, Mike and Kathe kept everything on schedule and kept us updated throughout. They were absolutely AMAZING to work with and did a beautiful job on our home, on time and on budget. We couldn't be happier that we had the opportunity to work with them.

We just recently had two bathrooms done by Mike and Kathe. A large master and smaller bedroom bathroom. They were a dream to work with from start to finish. We've undergone several large remodel projects and this firm was the best! They did everything they said they would! They were neat and kept the site cleared up as they worked. The main contractor was there daily and Mike checked in on a regular basis.
For the most part they kept very close to the schedule they outlined for us in the beginning. The finished product on the master is so beautiful I sometimes just go in and sit! The second bathroom is also stunning! It was great to be able to see what things were going to look like on the computer during the design phase. I also appreciate that both Mike and Kathe were conscious and respectful of our budget and time. I can't wait to have them do another project! I said I wanted pretty and they delivered 100%!

Heard great things about this company and attended their workshops on Bath and Kitchen remodel. Nice workshops and very nice people until we tried to actually schedule a meeting to begin the process. We finally booked a spot with them the next week. We later received an email canceling the meeting and wishing us luck on our remodel. It was real kiss off and they provided NO explanation. So, this is a two star rating for a service we never got to experience.
