I was looking around to remodel my bathroom at various showrooms but I was immediately impressed when I walked into Apex. The show room has a variety of designs and the lady in the front answered all my questions and made great suggestions and I was amazed with the quality so I hired them. The Apex crew was beyond professional and completed my project sooner than expected. Thank you APEX for my fabulous bathroom!

I was parked in front of this place next door to heavenly massage on public street parking because I was going on vacation with a trailer hitched to my car and they called the cops on me to try to make me move my car?!? They also accused me of using their internet, as if that would somehow mean anything (I wasn't but still what jerks) I looked in the store at their products and they looked nice but who wants to do business with someone who is so up tight that they call the cops on you for simply being parked in a street parking space longer than they wanted me to be?

After yet another general contractor who had looked at our house stopped returning our calls, my DH happened to spot this Apex location on Waukegan while having breakfast. He went in and met Lou. Within a few minutes Lou agreed to meet us later in the week at our house. Our project - update the bathrooms. Lou came by right on schedule, measured, and left.
We apologized for our house, but he didn't seem perturbed at all, saying he'd seen far worse. We expected the same non-response we had gotten from other contractors, but were pleasantly surprised when he called in a few days with a quote. We met him at Apex and he walked us through the entire project, including the design. He was not even phased when the very next day we went back in and pretty much completely changed our minds. Apex handled all the ordering and the delivery - easy as can be.
About a week earlier than Lou anticipated he called to let us know all the materials had arrived and to schedule the work. It was then we met the two man crew, Peter and Lubo, who were assigned to our project. That's when we really understood the great thing about Apex. No separate tradespeople traipsing in and out. The crew was fully licensed for plumbing and electric and were going to handle everything.
And handle everything they did, at the highest quality. Lou continued to stay involved even as the scope of the work expanded to replace all the plumbing in the house (not unexpected), to fix the leaky roof, replace a bathroom window, and reconfigure a bedroom to increase closet space. Peter and Lubo showed up on time every day six days a week until the project was complete.
Among the many impressive things they did was the tile work - really really top notch. Our project is complete. I can't say enough good things about our experience and the quality of the work and the crew doing the work. Now for the negative. Our water bill may skyrocket. The finished bathrooms are so lovely and the showers/tubs so spa-like that I'm afraid we will all spend much more time showering and enjoying long relaxing baths. Oh well, totally worth it. As soon as I can convince my DH that our kitchen needs a remodel, I'll be dialing up Lou.

I would recommend Apex Kitchen and Bath to anyone looking to redesign or remodel their home. Apex has excellent designers and made the entire process easy. We did our kitchen, master bath, and three bathrooms and were very pleased! The pricing was extremely fair (even with all the extras we changed along the way) - I would highly recommend to all!
Don't just take my word for it, if you check out their website you can see many other testimonials and some good actual client pictures. They also will provide you with many references to check if you want.

He is high and he will use a bait and switch if you sign a contract. He will not let you by products you may fined cheaper somewhere else to install. He does not repect his designers by paying them the same amount as working in a retail store and his commision if you get one will be 1% only if you see that. He will lie to make himself not to pay for something he may have made a mistake of. He is Lou Pelritis " he claims to be owner"
