We've been enjoying our new kitchen created by Trade Mark for almost 10 months now (project was completed in Mar 2021) and we love it! We appreciate the work that the Trade Mark team did at our humble home. We have an old Victorian home. Our project was a complete gut renovation of the kitchen as well as partial renovations of the mud room and an attic bathroom.

The kitchen was the most significant challenge and we went into the process with a very optimistic hope that we could redefine the limited & restricted spaces that we had. Paul had the vision that matched our goals and he was very creative in designing a new kitchen that made our hopes come true. The Trade Mark team worked very hard to build things into tight spaces. Additionally, the Trade Mark team was flexible enough to address issues around our kitchen area that were much bigger than anticipated and they resolved them all. We are thankful that Trade Mark was our design & build firm.

When my husband and I made the decision to renovate the entire first floor of our home we were both unsure of what we ultimately wanted in a design. We also had no idea who we should call. To make this project even more challenging we had to have it done in under 8 weeks for a family gathering so we had no time to spare. After countless days of scouring the internet for a company that would suit both our design and construction needs, we found Trademark.

Our initial meeting with Paul was at our home and incredible! He envisioned our space in a way that we could never have imagined it. He made the design process an exciting experience and there was no doubt we wanted to work with him and his team.however it had to be done in under 8 weeks. Paul smiled and said "It will be". Once the project came under way we were introduced to Dan, Paul's partner, who was just has professional and reliable. Dan oversaw the exceptional team of craftsmen that were to transform our home into what would become, eight weeks later, a space that belonged on the front cover of an architectural magazine.

The demolition of our home took place the 1st week in March 2020, which unbeknownst to us would be the week before the Covid-19 pandemic would surface throughout the world. Not only did Dan ensure that we got the necessary permissions from the state to continue our project but he also ensured the safety for both our family and his team members by implementing safety precautions around the house to keep us all separated. and full steam ahead they went.

The team of craftsmen that worked on our home. Lou, Dan and Tyler. are the most talented men we have ever experienced. They worked tirelessly all day with the highest level of professionalism. We were stunned by their skill set, attention to detail and precision. Exactly 8 weeks later, our first floor is done and it's GORGEOUS! In fact, it is so beautiful that it doesn't match our second floor.which we never intended to do.but now we get the chance to work with this fantastic team again! Thank you Trademark! The Todd's

Trade Mark was nothing but amazing to work with! Having done other major remodeling in the past which were a nightmare, we always go into new projects a bit skeptical. Paul was the 1st person you meet. He was the brains' of the project. He designed the project on paper with our ideas. My husband and I had two different ideas for this kitchen remodel in mind.

My husband on the one hand wanted something calm not a dramatic change, on the other hand, I wanted a "WOW" tear-down all the walls project! What I had in mind was major, we decided to do the kitchen Rip Out- the walls to the studs, and work on the back extension. Paul managed to mash our ideas! From start to finish the experience was a breeze but make sure you listen to Paul he has been experience with remodeling!

When he suggests something it's because your home probably needs it, not because he wants you to spend more money! Then, there was Lou, Dan and Tyler, I can't say enough about how professional the crew was. They cleaned up before they left the house every day, were considerate about not being loud, and the most important part was that the project ran on time. Lou was the main guy at my house with Tyler, but all three of them made my house Awesome!

Paul, Lou and Trade Mark are fantastic. A year ago they redid our kitchen. Paul was great helping us plan and figure out what we wanted. Everyone at Trade Mark was very responsive with any questions and requests we had during the work, and we love our new kitchen. About a month ago, I had a question about one of the installs they did, and Lou came out to check it and spent a couple hours making sure everything was correct.

That's an amazing response considering the original work was completed a year ago! I'll use Trade Mark again, when we're ready for our next update, and gladly recommend them to others!

I have been working with Paul and Dan (and their team) from Trademark Design and Build for over 15 years on various projects in our home. I think they have left their mark on just about every room! We keep going back to them for a number of reasons: their thoughtful design; the execution of the project; and finally, the end result. They have designed and installed built in cabinets in our family room, and managed to design the project around a built in room air conditioner; designed and built a built in bookcase and cabinets in my "craft" room (now an office); put absolutely beautiful crown moldings and wainscoting in our dining room and living room; designed a mantel and "surround" for our living room fireplace; designed and coordinated the re-do of our finished basement (sheet rock, cabinetry, flooring, moldings, etc.); designed and redid 3 bathrooms (one of which was so small that I wasn't sure what we would do with it, but Paul and Dan managed to design it so that it had everything that was needed and even somehow found room for a built in linen closet!).

I could go on, but the point is that they listen to what you are looking to do and come up with a plan. They sit with you to to review and tweak the plan so that it is exactly what you want (actually, better than what you thought you wanted!). I have never seen better workmanship once the project begins and they keep you in the loop every step of the way. Finally, when the job is done, you have a beautiful renovation that is complete.

There are no "nits" that haven't been addressed. And if there are any issues that come up after the completion of the project, they are there to address them and are responsive - they don't disappear! We are in the process of selling our house and everyone who has come to see it (from the realtors to the potential buyers) have commented on so many of the projects that they have done here - about how beautiful and appealing they have made our home, and the value they have added. I have no hesitation recommending them for any home renovation. Trademark delivers!

Our kitchen was sorely in need of renovation and redesign; we had a large kitchen area with a shortage of useful cabinet and countertop space. When we first met with designer and owner Paul, we presented him with some preliminary plans. Unlike other kitchen designers we had met with previously, Paul was the first to recommend an alternative to our plan, suggesting a kitchen layout we had not yet considered.

When Paul presented the finalized plan and showed us Trademark's offering of quality materials, we were certain of our decision to enlist this company for our kitchen redesign project. After we carefully reviewed the design details with Paul and made our cabinet & hardware selections, his partner Dan took the lead on the actual renovation work. Throughout the process, both Paul and Dan frequently communicated the status of the project, relayed any issues they encountered, and made helpful design suggestions.

In addition, they guaranteed the quality of the materials sourced from the manufacture, by replacing any part that was shipped with even a minor cosmetic defect, without us prompted them to do so. The final result was fantastic - we now have a beautiful and functional kitchen, and a first floor that is brighter and more open. In short, we would recommend this company for kitchen renovation or any other home redesign projects without hesitation.

I would recommend Trademark Design without reservation. We had a tremendously positive experience working with Paul, Dan and their team. After interviewing several contractors I decided on Paul and Trademark for several reasons. Paul listened carefully to us as we articulated our needs for our new kitchen and new master bathroom. Unlike other contractors, Paul came up with ideas that solved our space issues in ways we hadn't thought of. Also, they had come highly recommended from a trusted friend and neighbor for whom Trademark did an excellent job with a very large expansion and renovation project.

Another reason we chose Trademark was Paul's comprehensive estimate which laid out each item for each part of the project. The level of detail was reassuring and it was accurate. After we hired Trademark, Paul was always responsive whenever we had questions or needed help selecting materials. He came up with several designs and met with us numerous times to ensure we were getting exactly what we needed.

His crew was at the house every day, on time, and worked efficiently. They cleaned up the site well each and every day even though we weren't living there during construction. Paul responded to any issues that arose during the work with a sense of confidence and calm, which helped put us at ease. We had an issue with the flooring vendor and Paul took matters into his own hands and solved the problem with ease. Vendors for materials that Paul recommended were great to work with, and he even recommended great painters and movers for us. Paul always kept us in the loop as to the schedule, and they handled inspections and permits wonderfully.

We always knew what was coming next and about how long it would take. The work was finished not only on time but a few days early! Our kitchen and bathroom turned out beautifully and better than we had even hoped. We absolutley love our new space and highly recommend Trademark!

We chose Trade Mark to design and install our new kitchen following a recommendation from our architect. Paul (design) and Dan (installation) were great to work with and we are extremely happy with the final result. After living in a set borrowed from "Mad Men" for over ten years, my husband and I decided it was time to renovate our kitchen. We knew it was not going to be an easy task and had to find the right craftsmen for the job. From the first time I spoke with Paul on the phone, I had a good feeling. He was knowledgeable and provided us with an itemized, detailed quote; no stone was left unturned. Paul helped us at the appliance store, granite and tile stores to ensure that we picked the most appropriate items for our kitchen.

Every day (even on the days with the worst, winter weather) someone was working on our kitchen to make sure it was done on time. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. It was finished in the timeframe promised and on budget. Trademark Design and Build was able to turn our dream into a reality and we now have a modern, functional kitchen. Trade Mark Interiors renovated our kitchen and bathrooms and we couldn't be happier. Not only did I need to find a reputable contractor to completely renovate our kitchen, but also someone who was able to identify and fix all of the deficiencies left by our previous contractor. After an agonizing 3-year ordeal with our previous Englewood Cliffs-based designer/contract, we were left with leaking showers, loose tiles, and a non-working radiant floor heating system.

I met with at least 4 different contractors, checked references, portfolios, and assessed the design ability of each. Ultimately, I selected Trade Mark Interiors based in Hawthorne, NJ. Owners Paul and Dan and their team were first tasked with fixing our bathrooms. What started out as replacing loose tiles quickly turned into the discovery of mold from incorrectly installed showers.

The scope of work transitioned into an entire gut-job with remediation. Although this took more time than we initially thought, had it not been for their thorough exploratory work, we would never have known that mold was infiltrating both bathrooms. The bathrooms turned out great with a noticeable difference in workmanship. The larger, more exciting project was our Kitchen Remodel and Home Bar! Paul met with our designer and offered a variety of materials and styles from which to choose.

We wanted something unique and modern, rather than traditional and boring, and Trade Mark exceeded our expectations. The sourcing of such unique materials as wood from a recently dismantled barn in the midwest, to a modern zinc encased resin countertop, really gave Trade Mark an edge over other run-of-the-mill kitchen contractors. Their workmanship and attention to detail was remarkable and it was refreshing to have the same workers in our home day after day (our previous contractor subbed everything out to countless different companies).

Throughout the project, Paul and his team were in constant communication through their project management application. This ensured that all concerns and requests were met, right down to the last detail. The photos of our kitchen and bar speak for themselves, but needless to say, we are extremely happy with the finished products. There are so many contractors in Northern Jersey who cut corners to make a quick buck.

We found ourselves in that mess with our first contractor. Fortunately, Trade Mark has proven to be reasonable, honest, and very talented. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend consulting with Paul for your Kitchen renovation!
