Howard Kaplan first started serving Cincinnati's kitchen and appliance needs when he opened his first hardware and appliance store in 1915. Now, more than 100 years later, family-owned Howard's Kitchen Studio continues to serve the Cincinnati area as Cincinnati's premiere kitchen remodeling, design, and product showroom.
Growing up in the family hardware and appliance business, Howard's Kitchen Studio owner Mark Kaplan has been involved in home improvement his entire life. He helped customers select the right appliances and plumbing choices while working in the business during high school and college. Today, Mark concentrates only on remodeling.

Renovating a kitchen felt very daunting. But Howard's Kitchen made everything so easy. Tammy came up with a beautiful design and the crew were always on time and super professional. We purchased a new Miele dishwasher from Howard's and had it installed. We had read and been told by friends about the excellent quality. Unfortunately we got the one machine which didn't clean the dishes. Mark gave us the number for Miele who required us to have a service call. We were disappointed to have to wait for a week to get service from the only approved repair shop in town.
We had documented in pictures the problem and told the repair technician we wouldn't accept major repairs. When Miele said it was going to need a new pump, Mark contacted the company and was able to get us a new dishwasher that was installed the next week. The thing that would have made this five stars is if we hadn't been without a dishwasher for two weeks.

The staff at Howard's kitchen is amazing. We have gone to Howard's Kitchen for so many different types of projects. They help us selections, planning, deliveries, and more. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in many kinds of new builds and renovations. They make the "overwhelming project" seem doable. Thanks for all the help HK. I have been using Howard's kitchen studio mainly for my cabinet purchases. My go to person Julie Denning has been instrumental in helping me with cabinet selection, ordering and design suggestions. She is easy to work with and I receive quotes and invoices in a timely matter. She has a great eye and broad knowledge. Great communication. Mark Kaplan which I have known more than 12 years knows everything about appliances and is always eager to find the right product for you.

Our experience shopping for appliances with Mark and Diane at Howard's Kitchen Studio has been excellent. They offer high quality product lines and are knowledgeable and responsive to questions. We decided post-sale to exchange a washer-dryer stacking unit with pedestals for each appliance and the exchange was accomplished with a single phone call and a single visit.

I've had Howard's Kitchen studio install both a dishwasher and a range hood with a vent to the outside. The studio sells top quality brands and the installers are all very knowledgeable, helpful, and do a great job. On top of that, they are all lovely people. I have had a great experience with Howard's Kitchen Studio and warmly recommend it to anyone looking for work done in their kitchen.
