Custom Cabinet Refacing

Dave did a great job re-fronting our kitchen cabinets which included new soft-close drawers with boxes. Despite a supplier delay, he was communicative and flexible with his schedule to accommodate us. He was prompt on the day of the job and took care to keep the site clean and tidy. We are happy with our new, good looking kitchen!

Dave was prompt and professional in every aspect of the cabinet refacing job I contracted with him (kitchen & hallway doors). His fee was reasonable compared to other providers. Also, to his credit, he identified a manufacturer's flaw on one of the doors (I would not have noticed it) and replaced it in a timely matter. He would be my first choice if I had another, similar project in mind.

Dave replaced my old oak kitchen cabinets with white shaker cabinets. The kitchen now looks much better. Dave was punctual every day and did good work. There was a glitch in which a few cabinet doors arrived in the wrong size, not uncommon during remodeling. Dave followed through with the manufacturer, got the doors, came back and finished the job, which speaks to his good character. He was easy to get along with and had good ideas. He was available and responsive via email usually within a day, which I thought was reasonable.

This is the second time I've worked with Dave (CCR) on a refacing project. I had golden oak entertainment/storage units in my family room, very outdated and heavy looking. They're sturdy and work for me so I was hesitant to replace them, seemed so wasteful. Dave was able to reface the drawers and doors with grey painted shaker cabinet doors and plain drawer fronts.

The frame/body of the units were sanded and primed several times before a final coat of paint. The oak grain is virtually gone, replaced with a nice solid finish. I was worried it might be easily scratched but is not the case at all. To say I'm p, eased with the end product is an understatement. In addition I very much appreciated the care they took in protecting the rest of the rooms from the dust and fumes. Highly recommend.

Dave is a true craftsman. Our kitchen had last been remodeled in the 80's. The cabinets were solidly built, but the doors and drawers needed replacing. We chose cherry wood from Dave's extensive samples. The cost was much less than a contractor estimated for new cabinets. Yet, the cabinets now look new and our kitchen looks great. Dave is extremely reliable, always on time. He did the whole job by himself, ensuring a high quality of workmanship. We highly recommend Dave.

Cannot recommend Dave enough! His work is very high quality, timely, fairly priced and super professional. I had some 90s era cabinets in my kitchen and thanks to Dave my kitchen now has a much fresher, brighter look. He also consulted me and gave me some great ideas on small changes i could make to maximize on space : I had two silly, weird cutting board drawers that never used, and Dave suggested merging the space to make deeper drawers. Genius! I will call Dave in the future for anything cabinet related!

Warning: this review may sound over the top, but I cannot express adequately how pleased we are with Dave and his workmanship. Our tired kitchen cabinets were updated in just five days with perfection, plus our two bathrooms. So, here goes. First, we've not had the best experiences with contractors. We hold our breath and hope for the best. Dave, the owner of Custom Cabinet Refacing, is low key and not at all pushy.

Very matter of fact. He provided a sample and a catalog of cabinets and helped us choose the right white to go with our existing granite tops. The quote was quite reasonable and the timeline of 5-6 days was even better. All the work was done meticulously and with great care. Highly recommend Dave for people who are like us--contractor-adverse--be assured you're in good hands. Our old oak cabinets have been transformed and we love the fresh, clean look to match our dining room.

We are so pleased with our refaced cabinets. Dave was very punctual and meticulous. He gave us a very reasonable quote and we decided right then to go with him and I'm glad we did. Our cabinets were off center from settlement and you would never knew it, he does beautiful work. We would highly recommend him to anyone. These picture do not do them justice, they look fantastic.

Dave does incredibly thorough and fairly priced work - no shortcuts! Take a misaligned old set of cabinets or drawers and he will do it all! Reface the kitchen, and the bathroom cabinets? No problem. Add in new boxes? He can do that too! In a Victorian where there has been settlement? Somehow after skillful measurements and some time, voila! You can have soft closing drawers - better than new!
